Rite Aid

switched to rite aid pharmacy from safeway as it is closer to my residence. had my doc call in the prescription at 9am. went in at 3:30 pm to retrieve the prescription, the only lady working the pharmacy was not helpful. she kept misspelling my last name and did not search for the prescription under birthdate or any other information like they do at safeway. she then walked away like she had something better to do which she obviously did not as the store was empty.
i went over to safeway afterwards (in case the doc sent it there by mistake) and the tech actually spent 15 mins with me trying to locate my prescription even though he had other people in like.
wth? where is the customer service at rite aid, it’s not like the place is ever busy

Horrible pharmacy. Rude, slow and inept. Do yourself a favor a drive down the street to CVS.
Pay terminal was filthy; likely because of the nearby leak in the ceiling. Staff had put a wet floor sign nearby, but nothing to catch the water leaving a growing puddle to stand by.
EDIT: Thanks for the number to call. After 20 minutes on hold I gave up though. Re-​inforces my suspicion that Rite Aid has abandoned this store.

Filthy store. Customer service poor specifically the pharmacy. Too bad because of its convenient location

Well, it’s time to leave my one star review after today. This experience just reminded me why I never come here. I’ve had several unpleasant experiences, but this one made it worth Unilocaling about. I was shopping for liquid laundry starch or something similar to use for a science project. After having no luck searching for it myself, I asked the only two employees that I could find at the front register if they knew where I could find it. The lady at the register literally started laughing at me and told me that I wouldn’t find that anywhere in the store. Her tone of voice was condescending and rude. The other lady asked me if I had checked in the pharmacy (what?!). Anyways, while the second lady mentioned that Walmart or Target might have it, the cashier continued to laugh loudly and interrupt us saying that there’s no way I would be able to find it and how funny it was that I was asking for something so outdated. She made snarky comments like «I can’t believe you’re even asking for that!» and «good luck with that». It was beyond uncomfortable. While I was standing there listening to her continued mocking as she rang up another customer, I looked up on my phone (at the suggestion of the other lady) where to find it. Many stores do carry it, in fact. I thanked her and left. I don’t think I’ll be coming back…

I come in Rite Aid all the time. Yes the store is spacious. When you walk in there is this huge empty space in the middle of the store that I always feel something could take that place. Maybe one day!
I seem to do my coupon shopping here on the weekends. Parking at the store is NEVER a problem because there is TONS of parking.
The staffs are pretty friendly. Every time I walk in I always seem to be greeted.
The bathrooms are located all the way in the back and seem to always be very well kept when I go in! A+ FOR THAT!
They recently just put refrigerators in the stores so they are now carrying frozen food and in the front of the store there are refrigerators that sale Milk, juices and soda! Glad to see that Rite Aid is slowly stepping there game up!

In our family we call this store the place were time stands still. No one will ever help you or make eye contact. There is always a line to check out no matter what time of day you are there. The employees move so slow you feel like they have a spell on them.
This is a very strange store. But one thing I do like about it, it seems to have a little of everything, which is very strange but you honestly could wander around here for hours just looking at all the odd stuff they stock. I have worked in CV for over 16 years and been in this store an average of twice a year. Each time I go in I remember why I hate to go there again.
I do like their watch repair and battery changes for watches. That is why I usually find myself in this store.

The store is soooo old, with that fusty smell that comes along with the age of the building. Huge retail space where it appears about 40% of it goes unused.
The employees are equally as old, stumbling, grumbling attitudes. Non-​helpful & borderline rude on a good day.
The do have some unique and fun items for home/​garden ideas, projects and a candy aisle that pays to have your rewards card handy at the register.
All in all we only come for snacks that the dollar store doesn’t stock or are on sale.
Otherwise, very frustrating place to intentionally come to shop.

the on duty supervisor was the reason for 5 stars! The store’s checkout equipment is GARBAGE!!! However after exploding about the situation I still called the gentleman & sincerely apologized for my anger @ the ATM pin pad for not working. The poor man said he had tried hundreds of times to get the checkout equipment problems resolved but with no success. this issue should be resolved otherwise nobody will want to shop there anymore & people may lose their job & that could be a real nightmare for some who needs that job!

Why is this store even open?!, I stopped in because I needed emergency pacifiers for my baby. I wandered around 10 mins because 1– no one offered to help 2– baby stuff is in 2– different aisles… This store is EXTREMELY out dated, reminds me of a rite aid from the 80’s… Literally had me flashing bk to my child hood! Then I get in line… seriously? Can you hire anyone slower?! A sloth could move faster than this dude AND the woman ahead of me had to tell him how to bag stuff because he couldn’t get it right. WTF…

Amazing selection here. They have something for practically every need. They even have a mini grocery — only thing they don’t have is produce and meat. There are frequently good deals to be had with your Rite Aid card (e.g. «buy one, get one free»), so I save lots of money.
The store is very spacious — never feel cramped shopping there. Sometimes, I find things there that are sold out everywhere else, particularly with seasonal items. Staff is fine and usually helpful, though there are a couple of employees who don’t seem too interested in helping out.
Some people might be put off by the old look of the place, but I don’t care about that when I just want to get what I need at a good price without fighting crowds.

If I could I would give them a minus 5 sad face. They really do not understand their job is to dispense and sell the prescriptions the dr write for their patients for Rite Aids customers. I switched to Rite Aid because cvs always has lines. Rite Aids does not have lines but also spend a long time with customers trying to pick up there
first visit they were fighting with patients trying to pick up their medicine shouting out in a public place what the person condition is. HIPPA LAW is not their concern at Rite Aid. On my second visit to get my refill they refused to give me my medicine I needed and was having a very serious life threatening health problem. After third call from Dr they gave me my
treat an terminal person by withholding there meds is morally wrong and caused my condition stress for myself and dr. Now I will go to a pharmacy who will do what the dr orders not these jerks who are on a power trip. I will be contacting Rite Aids headquarters because I do not want this to happen to anyone else and to anyone who is reading this I have a terminal disease with the stage of five years or less. This was a sad day for me. Go wait in the lines at CVS they are extremely busy but do there job. My Dr and Associates had a meeting on what happened at this establishment. They also recommended a pharmacy for me.

I went here with my wife and my two year old son. Went down a few aisles and noticed two people watching me. So I moved some more and there they were again. So I yelled at them saying… I can see you watching me! They said that the were Loss Prevention, and have a right to follow any customer they find «suspicious». Either way I don’t care, they had no right watching or profiling me and family. So I have not been back to this place since then. I understand they don’t want people to steal their merchandise, but there is no need to harass an innocent family.

This place is a joke. Old, outdated (including the employees), underutilized, mismanaged. Employees have no idea where things are. It needs to go. I RARELY shop here and its only because its my last option. STEP IT UP!

I’m leaving this review as I want them to improve the quality of service as I’ve been a customer of this store over 15 years. The pharmacy staff name Irene whom I spoke to fill up my prescription, she doesn’t *try* to listen and answer what customers asking and when she answers, she turns her back and speaks. Oh, plus I hope the pharmacy manager to warn/​train (i’m sure they have a good training program set up for the employee like her) her to not to chew (probably gums) something when you speak & fill up customer’s RX.

SECOND REVIEW: Janett and Mary are complete idiots. Everyone in that pharmacy is incompetent. They literally called me just now to tell me that my medication which they placed on order last week was not in stock and that I would have to take my prescription elsewhere? I have never had such awful customer service.
FIRST REVIEW: I HATE THIS PLACE! It’s dirty, there is only 1 available checker if any at all times… I started coming here a few months ago because I was new to the area and I used the pharmacy not realizing how dirty and old this location was… the PHARMACY IS THE WORST! I brought a prescription in Wednesday had to call Thursday and make sure they put an order request in for my medication which they didn’t do… I have called 3 times to see when my prescription will be available as you know, medication is rather important for a REASON!!! and the pharmacy people, Mary and the others say… «well we just don’t know, it could be today, tomorrow or 3 days from now… we just don’t know what to tell you» What kind of customer service is that? I’m sorry, what if it was a heart medication. Would it be possible to get a better update on where the F my medications are? I am switching my pharmacy obviously. I will never deal with them again. They are awful! Incompetent and careless! Oh and the last time I went in there, I had to use the restroom. There was feces smeared on the walls, there was no toilet paper and no soap. Clearly a hygienic facility. Really excited to know that those employees at the pharmacy and handling my medications with their hands. EWWWWWWWWWW!!!

How this business stays alive I will never know. It is so large but then so empty. It takes me an hour just to walk around to get a couple items

This place would be better if they had more people at the cash registers. During most of my visits, they either had one or two registeres open (huge lines). Yes the store is spacious, and they have decently priced products, but things could be better.

I would just like to go on record to say this is the biggest, and weirdest aisle/​section arranged Rite-​Aid I have ever been to.

Love this place! How can you not love this place? Spacious and you can just cruise the aisles. The cosmetics section sometimes feels a bit like items are’t replaced too often but it is still a fun kitschy place to get holiday décor, toys for the kids, groceries and your new fishing rod.
Minus one star because I think the watch repair guy ripped me off. Had him replace several watch batteries and my watches stopped working within 6 months. And he almost damaged one of my expensive watches because he couldn’t get the back off. Leave the watch battery replacement to a jeweler, I guess.

Do NOT even consider bringing your photo developing to this store !!!
Rite Aid sent me a coupon to use their photo center and after placing my order online, I went the next day in the morning to pick it up. I was told it would be ready in the afternoon and when I went, all I was told was they could not find my order and to come back the next day. I went back twice the next day and was finally told that their printer had been broken for TWO WEEKS!!! When asked how about my order, they said they do not know and to just re-​order. They do not even care even after I asked if they are going to refund me the money since I have to now leave with no products. I finally had to force them to call the lab to get a re-​print with no cost.
All in all it only took me over a week to finally able to get my prints. No amount of discount worth the time and hassle I have to go through to get it…
