Great place to live and experience Cathedral City and The Desert! Try out AJ’s on the Green restaurant, too! Great place for meetings in the re-​designed clubhouse! The staff is friendly! Love Dan (sales), Beth (management), Ruth and Cannella on the front desk! Wonderful!

I have to say we really enjoy playing this little golf course as it’s a great practice course. Unfortunately we don’t like the man in the pro shop. This is the second time we’ve golfed here this year and twice this guy has been rude, mean, and disrespectful to us. The first time he wouldn’t let us go on early because «we don’t pay his salary». There was a tournament going on and we had to wait (which is fine) but there’s no need to be disrespectful. We too paid a green fee which goes towards his salary.
We played here this morning. I asked if we could get cups and ice and he told me to go through the doors, into another room, to the ice machine. He added «can’t you see the ice machine». Once I got to the ice machine, I noticed there were no cups. I had to ask him where the cups where and he said (in a real nasty sarcastic tone) «right here». The cups were on the counter right in front of him. If he were a nice person, he would have told me that before I walked to the other room. He made me feel like I was bothering him.
We will probably golf here again because we get great deals on Golf Now but next time, if we come across this guy again, we will ask to speak to the manager.

Love this whole set up. The golf course is fun and in pretty decent shape considering we are in a drought! The trees give plenty of shade from the sun. Aj’s is a wonderful Resturant that has delicious food and great entertainment almost nightly. You wouldn’t even know they were there it’s so private! A hidden gem!

Talk about a diamond in the rough! Who knew! AJ’s Resturant located at Date Palm CC, I thought it was private property all these years! Great location, incredible service, menu, great presentation and reasonable! Sit outside looking over the lake, ducks, turtles, geese, golf course, trees! Great local spot! I will be back!

I am writing to inform the public that the restaurant, AJ’S ON THE GREEN AND Splash Bar is now open Mondays, we have had many requests to open, so we now are open from 10am to 9pm, with happy hour from 4-​close

Giving the one star for the Golf itself. It’s a fun little layout and was in decent shape. The greens were very thin, though and quite slow. The rest of the experience was horrible. We played on Monday, and for whatever reason, when I made the tee-​time over the phone AND when we arrived… they failed to mention that their snack bar/​restaurant is CLOSED on Mondays! No drinks, snacks, lunch, NOTHING. So we walked thru the doors after 9 holes, thirsty as all get out, hungry and dying for a nice cold beverage, only to be told by two employees, «Oh sorry we’re closed on Mondays». WHAT?!? We literally had to drive to the nearby Carls Jr for some lunch, then return and finish the back 9. I told the guy at the desk that it would’ve been nice to have been fore-​warned about this when we arrived, have something on the «Website», SOMETHING. This is totally unacceptable. This is a retirement community, obviously stuck in the 50’s. There are many other Executive Courses in Palm Springs that are a FAR better choice. Don’t waste your time or money ($ 40 for 18 holes) on this piss-​hole. I forgot to mention the cart (with torn seats and trash still in it) broke down on the 11^th hole. I called the desk and he said «OK, I’ll try to get someone out there»…wait…“I’ll TRY and get someone? TRY??? We managed to putt-​putt all the way back at a blinding speed of 2 miles an hour, but finally made it before anyone showed up. We did get a fresh cart, though. BOTTOM LINE: Go elsewhere.

I’m giving this two stars because:
PROS:
— The man in the pro shop was very friendly
— It was only $ 8 for 18 holes
— I was allowed to go by myself without being paired up
CONS:
— The golf cart was over 10 years old (that’s how it looked)
— The course was incredibly dry (re-​seeding)
— The cart paths are too inconsistent & sometimes it’s hard figuring out where to go
— The course definitely needed some TLC
Would return if the green fee was cheap again and the course had some tending to.
