We had the lunch special: 2 gyros, side salad, drink and dessert. The chicken gyro was one of the best I ever had. The Flatbread was warm and so soft and fresh. Yum! Enough meat to lettuce ratio. I had an Arnold Palmer for my drink. Fresh made lemon aid and ice tea. Probably the best one I EVER had. My friend had the baklava. He said, the best ever! What was sad and troubling? No one was there. Sad for a new place that serves one of the best gyros I ever had. The waitress was so attentive and sweet. They offer a great meal, at a fantastic offer, $ 7.99. Go. Go now and support this fabulous restaurant!

Not too bad. One thing tho is no Greek fries ugg. The service was very, very friendly and fast. The food wasn’t the best but we ate it so it wasn’t that bad. My partner didn’t really care for the falafel sandwich and my chicken gyro was ok. Still no fries ugg. Lol. Not to overly priced but not the best of the best. You decide

I was so excited to try a gyro from this place. Well first I ordered ice tea and they were out, then to my surprise a Greek place with no beef gyro. So down the road to Manhattans in Palm Springs.

Second time here. Authentic and wonderful. Gyros are the best; not the normal spiral sliced. Serve Mythology Greek beer. Came back for dinner. Roasted lamb is great, not over the top, just great home style Greek. You’ll like the quaint atmosphere and food.

This was a pleasant surprise! We had the hummus plate, falafel, and the three meat plate. It was all great! The prices were fair. We’d come back here again when we’re on this side of town.

We’ve been here a few times & love it! The hummus & pita appetizer is great plus the gyros & spicy meatball sandwiches are the best. Prices are very reasonable($ 8.50 for sandwich + salad) Go check it out!

This is a new place in PS. That’s what my local friends tell me. I went there with dear folks who have little experience with Greek food. I was a little disappointed that the wait staff did not speak Greek. I was more disappointed that the waitstaff told me that the Greek owners do not pay out the credit card tips to the wait staff. We had to pay the tip in cash. Nevertheless the waitress was a delight. Now to the food. The appetizer platter was fabulous. Hummus, tsatsiki, a feta dip, and taramosalata. All tasted great. Taramosalata was different. Very spicy. I liked it but I couldn’t taste any of the roe. Still I loved the platter. I had the roasted lamb on pita. The meat was tender but very under spiced. The Greek salad was fresh but no acid. No Greek dressing. Not a salad! Just undressed vegetables. This restaurant could become fantastic. The basic ingredients are here. But given all the facts, at this time it is a two. Sadly!

First visit today — very impressed! Super service & ambiance. We had the special — gyros, salad /soup and lemonade. Amazing red lentil soup! Felt like a little visit to Greece. We’ll be back with friends!

First of all, any Greek restaurant that rations tzatziki sauce in small containers, and charges for extra, is missing the point of Greek food. There was nothing joyful about this place. The food was dry and under-seasoned. The atmosphere was strictly functional. The waiters were reserved. It takes more than the standard blue and white décor, and pictures of idyllic islands, to be a Greek restaurant. It takes flavor, spices, and some heart and soul. My partner had the lamb, and I had the chicken. By the time we were finished we had both forgotten what we had. And, no rice with dinner. Just meat, salad, and pita bread. What’s the point?

Very impressed. Authentic Greek food without a doubt. It’s a nice little restaurant that is hidden away in a shopping center. The hummus was excellent and the lamb gyro was delicious. Their Tzatziki sauce was the best I’ve ever had. Will definitely make this a destination for now on.

We both got the gyro lunch special and we liked it a lot. The lamb was very tender, much better than a lot of places. The toppings were all great. I had chicken soup with my sandwich, it was good. David had a salad and felt there wasn’t enough dressing or the dressing wasn’t flavorful enough. Since the lunch special price was so ridiculously low, we got an appetizer of meatballs with tzatziki, it was ok but not a great value like the lunch. Maybe they should offer for a couple dollars more that you could get another side with your sandwich like rice, potatoes, or hummus? Service was very friendly. Good place. We’ll be back.

We decided to give this place a shot based on the reviews on Unilocal, and we are glad we did. I will start off by saying that we were sad that they did not have beef on the menu. Granted lamb and chicken are more traditional, but not all meatasaurus’ like lamb, and to be honest, chicken gets boring. However, the experience was completely positive. We started off with the humus, which one could easily tell was made in-house. It was a bit gritty and had enough garlic in it to kill a rushing mob of vampyres from 100 yards, and that is EXACTLY how it should be! As a matter of fact, it was pretty much prefect in our opinion. We followed that with the chicken kabobs. Great choice! The chicken was cooked to perfection. It was tender, moist, juicy, and the taste was spot on. The location was quiet and small. It wasn’t flashy or annoying, in fact, it was rather calming. The music added the perfect touch of ambiance to the place, and the service was great. The one thing I would definitely say you should not miss out on is the lemonade. I know it sounds kinda strange, but the lemonade was to die for. It had a perfect balance of sweetness and tart, with an added surprise of mint. I think I could honestly drink it by the gallon. IF you are looking for a pretentious Greek restaurant, this is not the place for you. It is a tiny shop in a strip mall, humble in design and focused on providing good food. The only warning, they are still fairly new and it appears they printed menus too soon because there are some things listed that they decided not to serve. I know this only because I heard the waiter apologize to an other table when they tried to order something on the menu that did not exist. I am sure they will be correcting this shortly. I hope the place is a success. We need some good, simple Greek food in the desert, and I think this place can fit the bill.

Not too busy tonight. I ad the meat platter(lamb, chicken kabobs, meatballs and pita. Salad was refreshing. My wife enjoyed chicken kabob. They don’t offer coffee. Quite limited wine selection. We tried baklava and were impressed. It was very nice. Prices are very reasonable. They don’t spend a lot on décor but the food was excellent!

A very middle of the road gyro stop and I come from a family that has/knows/owned cafes being from a big fat Greek family! I had the quick gyro lunch special and it’s not bad but my only suggestion would be to add more gyro meat, it’s gotta overflow with the delicious salty lamb sliced meat! It was a lot of lettuce and tomato too much onion! My buddy had the gyro salad which is not bad but it could have used more meat and a little more feta. OTHERWISE. Not bad for a crave. It’s also not Greek cooks which you can see thru the window When I asked if they had skordalia(a creamy garlic dip) the waitress had no idea what it was. That was a bummer. ITSORGASMICSTUFF!!! They weren’t completely bad but«ok» They served a piece of baklava as a dessert but my buddy said it tasted«ok» and almost packaged. BTW he’s a 100% Greek also. I personally am allergic to nuts so they should have had an alternative like galatourbuto(custard pie) hopefully they pack out the meat and expand to some more Greek dishes! Once I see more reviews with more gyro meat and skordalia I’d try it again

Heard about this new place through local media and came here for lunch last week on a Wednesday. The lunch specials can’t be beat. For $ 8, you get a choice of sandwich, salad or dessert, plus a drink. I had the gyro sandwich, and my partner had the falafel. While I prefer a thin pita, Santorini’s fluffier, more bread-y, pita was still delicious and fresh. I chose the dessert and my partner the salad just so we could share and sample each. Both didn’t disappoint… as a matter of fact, we had to order a second baklava. Also exceptional was the included drink choice of mint lemonade; like other Unilocaler reviews the lemonade was pretty darn good! 4 Stars! Unfortunately, we came back for dinner two days later on a Friday night and it was like night and day from our lunch experience. We really had high hopes to have an exceptional local greek restaurant in the hood, but the moussaka was less than ok. It would appear that someone took a piece out of a pre-made pan and nuked it in the microwave(ugh). It should have been at least ‘finished’ in the oven after reheating it. Taste was okay but i couldn’t get past the feeling of reheated leftovers. My partner had the roast lamb and it was also just ok. The lamb was supposed to be served on a bed of rice and instead came with(BAD) mashed potatoes. He said that he’s tasted boxed powder potatoes and these were worst then that. Again, the baklava is the exception… it was the same goodness we had 2 days ago. 2 Stars! We really want this place to do well and with some more work on the dinner execution, it can be a great local eatery. It was clear that when the owners are there at lunch that everything is flawless, but the dinner staff are still trying to find their footing and didn’t know what retsina was when we asked if they served greek wine. As Santorini is still fairly new, we will be watching and keep hoping that this place will continue to improve to an outstanding place for lunch and dinner.

I stopped for lunch on a ridiculously hot day. I was greeted by a cooling blue and white dining room. A strikingly pretty woman brought me a menu. I asked for an iced tea. It came with mint in it. I like that. She was pleasant and checked on me a few times. I ordered a vegetarian plate. What I really wanted was the grape leaves. They did not disappoint. I’m glad I ordered them. The falafel were baked. They were a little drier than I like, but I dipped them in the tzatziki and that made them better.(A little tahini would have also done the trick. The spanakopita was light and had a good flavor. What impressed me the most were the feta, the hummus and the pita. The hummus had a good texture and a bright flavor. The feta was plentiful and briny. The pita would make a good substitute for a pillow. Light and fluffy. It was a dream. The plate was actually much bigger than I had anticipated, so I was pleasantly surprised. I will have to go back and try the gyro.

I just had the best Greek lunch! This wonderful restaurant just opened and it was very busy already. Best gyro, baklava and lemonade EVER. Yishi is the wife and along with the chef/owner and servers, they were the friendliest and most hospitable people I’ve come across in a long time. The food was out of this world, I’ll be back and I’m bringing friends & family. DELISH!!! Welcome to the neighborhood… great food and fantastic staff! And clean, clean, clean! 5 stars for everything!
