Lulu’s Burger Shack

Solid Burger! Just a simple patty but when fresh and stacked high… oh my! I also had the peanut butter shake… the amount of peanut butter she put in there would make enough sandwiches to feed a kindergarten class… SO MUCH BETTER IN MY SHAKE! Their fries are really good, standard crinkle cut, but again, made to order makes them amazing… and their fry sauce is really tangy with lots of pickle relish! All around, very solid food… especially given the location being so far off the beaten path. I would go out of my way to eat here again!

The burger was very good and the fries were awesome. Very slightly overpriced however it’s really delicious.

Great burgers, great sides, great shakes, great prices, great selection. Only complaint was no indoor seating on a cold blustery day. Not sure why they don’t utilize some of the extra space in the shack for this, but I am sure they have their reasons. Easily one of the best meals that I have had as far as burgers are concerned. Their special combo is huge (bacon cheese burger, fries, drink) and is nicely priced.
Porta-​potties were roomy and clean. Nice folks running the place. One extra reason why I will take SR-​4 to Longview over Hwy 30 now.

So Lulu’s has now moved directly across the street to a new, bright red trailer. Word has it that the landlord is a complete prick who forced them out of the old location in the hope of opening his own place. Total bullshit move on his part so beware… the REAL Lulu’s is on the right hand side as you are heading towards Astoria.

The clam strips were great. The amount of fries that LuLu’s gives is huge so you can definitely share a combo meal between two people. On a sunny day you can sit out on the deck which has a good amount of seating and is also dog friendly. The price is great considering how much food you get. We will definitely be coming back.

The best burger, frys and chocolate shake, the Best I have had in s very long time! The bun was toasted, the cheese melted with lettuce, tomatoes, onion and secret sauce. Delicious. The fries crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and served hot. The milkshake thick and creamy, but not too thick you can not drink it. We will be back.

A short drive from Longview or a good stop on your way through from the coast. Lu lu s is a small burger stand on the side of sr4 in cathlamet. Seating is limited and outdoor so if you come during the off season in the wet and cold be prepared to brave the elements or to eat in your rig. BUT don’t let that deter you from an awesome burger at a very fair price!

Driving through Cathlamet and we decided to stop and try Lulu’s Burger Shack. It is an old fashioned drive up burger stand. We were lucky and went on a beautiful, sunny afternoon. Might be a bit of an uncomfortable situation in windy and/​or rainy weather.
Most of the burgers on the menu are ¼ lb, but did see that larger burgers are available. I ordered the Lulu’s Special, which included bacon and cheese, a bag of fries and a 24 oz soda. For $ 1.50 more, you can upgrade to a milkshake. The burgers were good with a nice toasted bun. The bag of fries is more than most people can eat. I would suggest if you go with someone, one order a complete meal and one order just the burger and share the fries! French fries are skinny crinkle cut. Milkshakes were very thick and delicious.
Food here was good and worth the stop. Not sure if they have a restroom available, but, if not, adding one would be a bonus, especially when traveling with a toddler trying to potty train. Would also love to see a patio covering added for the wet months.

Was on a work trip to Cathlamet and figured to try this burger place as they advertise that they are the best in town. Ordered the regular cheese burger. After about 5 minutes they handed me a paper bag with a burger. I didn’t get fries, drink or shake as I’m cheap.
The burger is very, very good. Not the best burger I’ve ever had, but rates way up there. The special sauce they put on it is excellent. Can’t wait to make another trip to Cathlamet to get another burger from these guys.
