I stopped ordering from here because the last time I ate from China Chef I got sick. I ate the chicken broccoli with fried rice and when I came back to my office, my head was hurting, I was throwing up every 30 mins, my heart was beating fast and I could barely talk or walk. I have always ordered from China Chef and I have always been impressed with them, but this time I was very surprised when I got sick after I ate their food. When I spoke with my coworker, she said the reason I might have gotten sick was because they might have put MSG in their food. She has experienced the same symptoms of sickness that I did.

The shrimp and broccoli combination is delicious. They are quick, nice and professional. I like that you can see the kitchen and the cook preparing the food.

Stopped by for lunch on a bike ride today. I had the spicy beef with snow peas. Incredible! Nice and saucy. Not overly done. Crisp veggies! Delicious! Will definitely be back to try other things!

Got the general Tso’s chicken. Chicken quality was average. People were nice. Restaurant could use some cleaning.

I haven’t tried that many different dishes here yet. With that being said… the dishes I did try were very tasty. I’ve tried a lot of different Chinese places and some are just awful(old, re-deep fried tasting… just bleh). I have tried wonton soup, fried rice and general tso’s shrimp from here. They were all very tasty and I will definitely try this place again in the future. Everything was very flavorful and didn’t have any trace of nasty greasy, re-deep fried flavor.

Decent food at a decent price. I’ve been going here for years. The portions are good, but don’t expect it to be the tastiest Chinese food you’ve ever had. Service is usually quick and friendly.

My favorite local Chinese carryout. Not gourmet but better than ‘hole in the wall’ Chinese joints. The cheesesteak egg rolls are to die for. Great lo mein, shrimp with broccoli or just some steamed dumplings.

It’s mediocre food and it’s not the best but if you are really hungry and in the mood for decently priced food, this is the place for you. Good sized portions for your buck. As for the taste, well, for me it’s just not what I was looking for. For some this will probably a go to spot, especially if you are thinking lots of food for a good price. For me, I’d sacrifice quantity for better taste. If you are in the mood for Chinese and are on a budget, give this place a try. It will definitely fill you for your buck. Thanks for reading my review. This review is based on my personal point of view and experience.

Ok, if you don’t know Chinese food then I can’t help you. This is your typical American/Chinese slap it together as fast as you can restaurant. Some things taste good, some things need help. If you’re a drunk or starving you will probably enjoy the food. Mainly because you either have no taste or it really doesn’t matter… your mother probably was a terrible cook. Having eaten alot of Chinese cooking I ask what to order the next time I came in because I knew what I had ordered had not been cooked in Chinese style. My answer, we don’t do that here. So, let me toss your poached food with some simple syrup flavored with soy… Enjoy Joe. Big portions if that’s what you need… not me. This is for kids or fast food pigs. Wonder why your fat? Eat up.

I had lunch there today, beef lo mein with pork-fried rice and hot and sour soup. The pork-fried rice seemed redundant with noodles, but it was by far the best-tasting part of the meal. The lo mein and soup were both terrible, neither tasting like lo mein nor hot and sour. The noodles provided with the soup were stale.

This is the place we go to for Chinese on a regular basis. It’s not that great, but it’s also not bad. It’s a normal middle-of the road Chinese food joint. It’s very consistent, which is important if you’re hungry and you don’t want to take any chances. Recently they’ve added cheese steak egg rolls which I’m sure are very bad for you… but like everything else that’s bad for you… they are SOOOO good. I always wind up ordering more of them than I need to. There’s eat-in space, but most people take out. It gets busy in the evenings sometimes. I typically ask for«white meat General Tso’s chicken» as the«white meat» version isn’t on the menu. I heard some lady ask for it and that’s how I’ve asked for it since then. I can’t say if it’s better or worse, but I like it. I think it’s a personal preference kinda thing.
