Ordered soft crab sandwich. Very over cooked and hard. I thought I would break my teeth. Very little meat on them. A lot of yellow stuff. I don’t think they were cleaned.

HORRIBLESERVICE Me and my family are touring Baltimore and decide to go into this diner for breakfast. After waiting for 5 minutes, we were lead to a table. After sitting for 20 minutes, we were never served. We sat and waited waving to many waitresses and all seemed to purposely ignore us. We could not wait any longer so we walked out, stopping at the bakery section. The woman who was serving us was very rude and took ten minutes to grab a éclair. AND the éclair was not good and I got sick from it. I am never going to this place again and strongly do not recommend it.

Double T is a go to for Marylanders. I learned that quick once I moved there. It is not bad at all but it is also not STANDOUT. The service is prompt. Can be slow on the refills. Their menu can be very overwhelming. It is like a damn book! That can be good and bad. Your selection is great and you can have whatever you want anytime of the day. However it tends to leave me feeling rushed. Again a good lil diner.

I’m a huge fan of diner food so when I can get to a diner I go! Double T is really a hit or a miss for me depending on what you order(and which location you go to). This one I’ve been to a couple of times and while the service isn’t the best it could be its ok. The last time I went I felt like my waitress was an aunt as there was a lot of «sweeties» and«honeys» being thrown around lol. Their portions are HUGE so be sure you go in hungry or be prepared to take some home with you. The menu is pretty extensive and ranges from salads to pancakes to meatloaf so anything you have a craving for they will be able to satisfy! I’ve had a couple of their salads and a burger and haven’t been disappointed. Next time I’ll have to try something from their dessert case, it all looks delicious and is just staring at you as you walk out the door. My last visit I made the mistake of going on a Sunday after church and the line for a table was practically out the door. The staff worked hard and quick to make sure people were seated without having to wait too long.

First of all, I have to say that I love this diner. My favorite item to order is the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict. The only thing I wished they would do is put some fresh herbs on top. Very bland looking when it arrives at the table, but the first and last bite is amazing. Fresh herbs would take this into a 5 star review. One of the times I came here for a late night dinner was to celebrate, and I ordered a double whiskey, and got what I felt was a quad. I was very tipsy upon leaving, but didn’t need to worry because I wasn’t driving. So in my experience their portions are generous food wise and drink wise. Maybe it was a mistake? But I am not going to complain on that. Nor am I going to take a star away based on that. Service is usually good, sometimes you can feel a bit rushed by certain staff members. But overall happy with the service. One thing I wish they would offer was a bigger cup of coffee. I am sure the waitstaff is run ragged by the sheer amount of refills required on coffee at times. So offering another size option would help with that! Overall, love the food, wish there were fresh herbs used to garnish. The staff is friendly and the bakery counter is fantastic. Love this place and will keep coming back. Thank you for being open 24⁄7! Makes for a nice last minute stop off for a treat or meal. (Also to note that one of the TVs was having input issues no one could figure out, wish there were fewer TVs to be honest. But it isn’t a detraction from my review)

If I wasn’t craving a corn beef sandwich after I got off work late, I would’ve never gone here. First they have like 3 different menus with different prices. My sandwich was supposed to come with soup, fries, slaw and pickle for $ 9.99. One menu says soup only comes with the order if you dine in, the waitress told me after 10 fries don’t come with it either or else it would be $ 11.99. So in the end for $ 9.99 all I get with my sandwich is a pickle and side of slaw. That would’ve OK cause I really wanted the sandwich. Until I got home and saw the size of my slaw and pickle. It was a spoonful of slaw and a small ½ slice pickle. Plus they charge extra for onions $ 1.25 and $ 1.30 for cheese. It’s ridiculous of how this place nickel and dimes customers. The place use to be packed every night years ago, but it was just about empty tonight. Now I clearly see why.

I always stop at TT when in Baltimore. The menu is full of options. I enjoy the breakfast, lunch and dinner choices. The meals are very inclusive with soup, salad and veggie. The prices are reasonable. The service can range from fair to excellent. A few evenings ago, I joined friends for a late night snack. I asked for hot tea. It was delivered in a cup so small, the teabag nearly filled the entire cup… I asked for a teapot of hot water– as I was usually served in that manner. The waitress(who barely tipped the fair scale– and told us she was about to get off…)said they didn’t have many teapots left(?)…and, eventually, brought this broken down pot to me… Even considering theft and wear, the Double T should be able to supply each customer’s request with a more than decent teapot!!! They pay next to nothing wholesale… and, Double T has no shortage of clientele. Inexcusable… Next a huge chip on the breakfast plate(the oblong, porcelain type… chip big as a baby carrot… Double T… must do better!!!

So let’s talk double T diner. It’s perfect for a night out. At any and all times. I was woken up at 7:52 just to come here. It’s very old school classical very cool. Got that place we all see in movies where the truckers come in and sit. I love that. The menu is very large but it’s for all times of the day. Which is awesome. Our server is very kind and has been paying attention to us. Which is as you all know is a good thing with Me. I got a order of French toast. And pineapple juice. I love it here came here as a kid and I still love it

Went there for a breakfast date yesterday. It was my first time there in a few years. We both ordered the #30 Double T breakfast combo … 2 eggs(mine were over easy, his were scrambled) 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 pancakes(he got French toast) & home fries. The service was good & the food came quickly. The sausage links were very good. The bacon was cooked just as I like it, still kinda soft with some chew. Pancakes were what you would expect although I should have bought some King syrup with me. The home fries lacked flavor. They were not seasoned and didn’t have any onions in them. Maybe I should have asked. I was satisfied with my meal and the price of it. I recommend and will certainly return.

Reliable and predictable. The menu is enourmous and it is open 24⁄7. The prices were reasonable and the omelettes were substantive. Don’t expect fine dining. Expect speed, choice and grease.

There is nothing I can say bad about my local double t diner! I have been coming here for years! Like 20 to be exact! Nothing! I mean nothing has changed! I have always experiment good service when I go! They are friendly, I get seated fast! My food is fast and fresh! I am always taking a doggie bag home because the portion size is crazy! Oh am trust me I am Not complaining! When I want a good solid breakfast! That is my spot! Oh and now they have flavored creamers for The coffee! Added bonus! If you want solid traditional diner food this is the spot! The offer specials of the day as well! Be aware of the add on prices like for cheese and drinks that are not offered with the special of the day! They can add up!

I visited Double T last week while my car was being worked on at Toyota. Well. I have always been pleased with pretty much anything served there, until I decided to take with me a blueberry muffin. I paid for the muffin, picked up my car and went back to work. When I got to work, I quickly opened the muffin and was shocked to see MOLD!!! I was so disgusted! I wonder if they keep their pastries PAST their expiration date. Horrible! I didn’t feel to drive back to get a refund.

We often stop here late at night when in the area. The food is consistently good and the service is OK. The daily soup is typically prepared nicely and offers decent flavor. Coffee is usually good too. They can get busy, but they seem to do a good job with the rush.

Decided to swing in here because I just couldn’t cook one evening. The menu of course is enormous. We sat for a long time reviewing the menu. Not by choice mind you. Our server was no where to be found. She finally showed up, wreaking of smoke, and took our order. Once our order was placed the food came out super fast. I got the gyro melt and cup of clam chowder. My wife got the cheese omelet with extra crispy hash browns. We started with an order of Mozz sticks as well. The Mozz sticks were ok, standard bagged Mozz sticks. The clam chowder was ok as well. I didn’t get much clam in it though. The gyro melt was pretty good. The feta on the sammich was really good. The fries were ok, nothing special. My wife’s omelet was good but she really enjoyed her hash browns. She asked for extra crispy hash browns and for once an establishment gave them to her! Kudos! When we finished eating, we ran into the same problem when first arrived. No waitress. We sat around for a while waiting and then we tried to get someone’s attention to just get us our check but no one would even come over to us. Eventually the waitress appeared, again wreaking of smoke. Com’ on man! Quit smoking already, it’s costing you all cash! I will say, she was very attentive when she was available. Overall the meal was ok and I would definitely return again in a pinch. Hopefully the waiters and waitresses stop taking smoke breaks in customers times of need.

Bland. it was open. That was the highlight of this experience. My friend drove us out to the outskirts to this place because few places stay open late in Baltimore. Had apple cinnamon pancakes with orange juice. Juice was watery. Pancakes were forgettable. Apple topping was tasteless. Server was either on 8 Starbucks… or other things, but was nice.

My husband swears this was my second time visiting this diner but I really don’t recall being here in the past. This is definitely my first review so here goes… I appreciated going in with no wait because I hear the wait can be long which is a good sign usually because it shows the food is worth the wait. We came at a good time and sat right down. The server was quick, nice and got our order right. I got the ny strip steak and eggs breakfast which came with home fries and rye toast. I ate every bit in my plate and it was really good! My husband got the scrapple breakfast and he enjoyed his as well. This location is not close to our home so I don’t know how often I will go back but I enjoyed the food. You can tell it’s a spot locals come to often and the price was affordable

This Baltimore institution with its huge menu has been feeding locals and travelers for as long as I can remember. It always was and still is a solid dependable restaurant with a wide variety of choices. Breakfast all day, a greek section, every kind of sandwiches you can think of, soups, specials of the day, pastas, etc. You get the point. One has to wonder how they can offer so many selections and hit a home run with everything. Well, the answer is, they can’t. Nothing I’ve ever had was bad, but I’ve ever had made me want to come running for either. My favorites include the Gyro, a decent crab cake, soups and club sandwiches. Bottom line– if you want variety, an inexpensive meal, or breakfast 24 hours a day, head to Double T

This is another establishment that my wife and I disagree on. She loves to come here, I would rather dine at some of the nearby ethnic restaurants. The advantage here is their huge menu, probably the biggest in the entire area. Almost everyone can find something they like and they do have a decent variety of seafood. They also have plenty of fresh desserts, quite a spread in the display case. Depending on what you order, the portions can be generous. The disadvantages are the prices always seem to be creeping up, the food is pretty inconsistent and the service can be at times decent, but more often pretty slow. One time last year we ate here and the cooks literally got into a fight in the kitchen and slowed down everyone’s meals. I wish Maryland had more competition for diners like New Jersey. I’m almost willing to give it 3 stars, but just can’t bring myself to do it.
