Brian has a great little bicycle shop in Catskill. He is friendly, very knowledgeable, honest, and makes no pretense about bicycles and their repair. He trouble shot a tricky problem, on some high end equipment for me, did it fast, with a smile on his face, charged me an honest price, and now my bike runs perfectly. I just moved up here from NYC where we have bike shops every 10 blocks, and there are a handful of really good ones with decent service and great mechanics. I have been riding for 46 years, have been to, and worked in countless bike shops. One often encounters a lot of posing, inexpert lack of skill, plenty of BS, and overpricing when trying to get their bike fixed. Not here. This is a sure thing, and Brian makes it happen.
