This is as fine a Walmart as any other. That bar isn’t that high, mind you, but anyone using the word ‘ghetto’ in their review is sending a not-so-coded message that people of color shop here … and they don’t like it. If that’s your yardstick then by a all means, go somewhere else. Oh, and I love Greene County.

Frederick pretty much summed it up. I was excited to check out this Walmart Supercenter that locals deemed one of the major attractions to the area. I was disappointed by the uncleanliness inside and the general awful mix of people who were contributing to the mess or were simply rude and made it a point to scoff at us «city folk.» One older man wearing a Confederate flag t-shirt, cut off denim jeans and no shoes asked how long we were in town for. It was both funny and unsettling. I’ve been to many Walmarts around the country and this one is definitely the worst one I’ve seen. The parking lot was also a mess with shopping carts everywhere and no one seemingly collecting them. A good ¼ of the spots were just filled with carts. Perhaps we could chalk this one up to the holiday weekend.

Ghetto, like the rest of Greene County. Prices are not cheaper than Hannaford, aisles jammed full of junk. I feel this is a definite fire hazard. Employees are a mixed bag; some are nice, majority are horrible. Plus the people who shop here are pigs. I feel the need for a long hot soak in the tub after a visit here.
