A horrible company with horrible people. The worst of all is that charlatan and crook, Tristan Joya. He took a $ 4000 deposit from me and gave me nothing in return. He wasted time to get me to get so sick of waiting on him to start, that I would be compelled to cancel. That’s when he swooped in claiming that I had forfeited my deposit. He got his attorney to write me a bunch of letters claiming that not only would I lose my $ 4000 deposit, but that I still owed them an additional $ 900 on top of the big fat nothing they gave me. Stay away from this thief and his lawyer Gary Wieser.

Years ago, I bought a house designed by Tristan when DaVinci was a darn good home construction & design company. I have been very pleased for 22 years with my home & considered Tristan a friend. I ran into him a couple of years ago & found out he was into total home remodeling as well as building & design. Long story short, we contracted to do an almost complete interior remodel & the best part, because we couldn’t afford to do it all at once, he arranged to get it done at our convenience. The best part about working with Tristan is trust. A hand shake was all we needed most of the time. The paperwork was a formality. Prices were very fair & reasonable. Our bath cabinets, linen closets, laundry room & kitchen cabinets all match. We picked them out ourselves at the wholesaler as we did with the granite slabs so kitchen & baths all match. Tristan is very laid back & not like other professionals I’ve dealt with. He is easy to deal with & will work with you the best he can. All his tradesmen were top notch & personable. We had some minor language problems at times due to work crews stretched thin but they were taken care of quickly. All in all, I’d do it again if I had to.

We had these people over for a quote to remodel our kitchen. I can’t remember Tristan’s assistant’s name, but it’s irrelevant for this review. They came in and gave us ideas that were not useful at all and veered away from what our needs were. Then, towards the end of their visit/​consultation, Tristan receives a phone call and takes it in our house, pacing up and down our hallway for 10 minutes! GO OUTSIDE!!! To make matters worse (or for the better, in our case) we never received a quote from them! Glad they never contacted us because it just saved us time in telling them that we would never use their company for anything.

To Tristan,
I do not believe it is appropriate to write a review for your own company and give yourself 5 stars. I would consider that very unethical. I also consider it to be very bad business to divulge other people’s personal information to the public.
You are a terrible business man and I hope people can see that through your poorly written response, which by the way is completely inaccurate.
Any reasonable consumer will clearly see that your lack of professionalism and complete disregard for any ownership or accountability for your company’s actions is reason enough to never do business with you.

Great Experience with Kitchen remodeling. We did out counters with them very recently. The crew they used were really great (except the plumber — advice that you get your own — we tried his and ended up with moonvalley)
Tristan goes the extra mile in customer service. Rochelle is very prompt and is always delivers on time. We felt absolutely no pressure on their sales and their pricing was reasonable. Work was fast on time work.
I would have liked a little more transparency on how they calculated the pricing.
