A BIG thank you to the evil masterminds behind the Hall of Horrors. Preparations for the interior of this year’s Halls of Horror started as early as February and boy did they do a phenomenal job. The actors are amazing, the makeup is beyond realistic, and the atmosphere was top notch. This year they even expanded the attraction to the basement! Words cannot describe how much fun my friends and I had tonight. We were scared and screaming and laughing! This has easily become one of my fondest memories of Columbia. It’s great when you go with a group of friends who aren’t afraid to be scared and are constantly fighting over who should go first. We had an inside joke where the person in the front was called«Lisa». When we first got inside the Hall of Horrors, the host asked everyone for their names, but then says, «Okay, Lisa, go first.» Like, no one is named Lisa LOL. While inside, we were always shouting, «LISA, GOFIRST!» while pushing someone to the front — it usually ended up being a male Lisa haha. It’s really hard not to talk about the Hall of Horrors without giving away specific details, but all I can say is they really did a great job with using every inch of the building. There’s a lot of twists and turns, which means lots of opportunities for jump scares. The actors all played their parts perfectly and not a single one of them went out of character. Definitely a very passionate team of actors; I wish I could personally thank each and every one of them. Thursday nights are«Blackout» nights, which means all lights are turned off and your group is given a single glowstick. It’s definitely for the really fearless. If you come on a non-Blackout night and want to come back for a Blackout night, they’ll reduce the ticket price to $ 5(just let them know so they can give you the voucher). Regular tickets are only $ 10, and worth every penny. Added bonus: Proceeds benefit local charities! Now stop reading my review and GO! P. S. If you post any pictures, make sure to #X13END P. P. S. There’s no age restriction, but I really don’t recommend bringing kids who get scared easily.

Live actors, props are great, price is very affordable. Make up and gore is done very well. It is a non profit Haunt that donates it’s profits to Camp Hope for kids. Highly recommend, check it out!!!
