i don’t get this place. although it is cutely decorated, i mean, really — do we need a penny candy store on a side street in cazenovia? one that is open infrequently — only 4 days a week? one that sells the same candy, albeit more expensive, as kinney drugs around the corner? or wegman’s, for that matter?
cazenovia has so many empty storefronts that, when this place appeared to be rented, i thought — yeah! finally! something interesting (a real coffeehouse? a cute café? a small boutique? anything?) but no, a penny candy shop. unnecessary and not worth the time.
