We ordered chicken katsu, Kalua pig, garlic chicken and the Honolulu burger. For drinks we had piña colada and passion fruit smoothies.
The garlic chicken was ok. The sauce was a little sweet for me but I loved the way they Cooked the chicken. If I was to order it again I would order the chicken plain.
The chicken katsu was a little salty. The Kalua pork was ok. The Honolulu burger was great. It has a sauce on it that reminds me of zippy’s burgers back in the day. The mac salad was your standard good Mac salad. As for the smoothies, the passion fruit was a little strong. A little less syrup and it would be perfect.
I would definitely go again.

I got the teriyaki chicken, and white rice. It was really good! Not the biggest fan of the honey sauce for the rice, but it’s not bad in general. I would take it to go though, it’s pretty small inside.

Love the Honolulu grill. The family that owns and operates this place makes you feel like you belong. Love the food garlic chicken is yummy and the coconut cake.

Very friendly staff. Laid back atmosphere. I got a Curry chicken meal and it wasn’t good. At all.
I’ll prob go back, just to give them a 2nd chance. It is always busy at lunch so perhaps I got a bad item.

The food here is really good and the prices aren’t bad either. The service was quick and friendly. If you have not visited this restaurant yet, do so soon, you will not be disappointed.

Awesome service, friendly people, love the music. I’m always impressed with the food. Lady at the register was amazing. We’ll have to get her name next time cause we’re going back soon.

Good food if you have all day to wait. We ordered our food to go and were the last ones out the door 45 minutes later. They forgot to put our extra sauce in the bag and our rice that was with the Kalua was cold — from waiting for the teriyaki chicken. The first time we went the people from the St George location were working there and this time it appeared to be all local and college students working there. Incompetent service can easily change a five star location to a one star. I will continue to eat at the St George location but it is doubtful I will return to this location…

Legit island food! Had to stop in for a try coming from Oahu and it did not disappoint! The food tasted just like we are used to, and we were even greeted with a friendly «aloha». We had a mix of plate lunch and all were tasty and generous portions. Everything was clean and quick. Prices were very reasonable. The only semi complaint I would have is the sign was not lit up and we drove rofht past it as it was after dark. I knew whereabouts to look, otherwise we wouldn’t have found it at that time of nite. We will definitely be going again to get out localstyle food fix. I only wish they had poi or taro dishes! So ono!

A hopping place at lunch! I had to wait for a table, but Its worth the wait. The inside is clean bright, and modern. The staff are very friendly. I had the combo plate «katsu loco» which is chicken katsu, rice, brown gravy, two eggs on top, and a salad on the side.
The plate is a huge meal. With a drink, I paid $ 12.95. Everything was cooked perfectly and is seasoned in typical Hawaiian Plate style. An pretty authentic plate meal.
If you’re looking for a break from the usual fast lunch, I say try here, it’s good stuff!

Nice friendly staff. I ordered the laulau plate. The «lomi salad» (lomi salmon) was awful. It had a medicine taste and no salmon. The macaroni in the Mac salad was palahe and so was the luau leaf in the laulau. The rice was actually cooked perfectly.

Went here for the city time and the food was phenomenal! I got a stir fry with teriyaki chicken and it was so good! Tons of food as well, I could only get around half of it down before I was full they also have some awesome Hawaiian juice drink imported from Hawaii that are quite delicious! Definitely plan on visiting many times more

Amazing Hawaiian food! A little pricy but definitely worth it! I think I’ll move to Hawaii now.
