I’m a snow cone connoisseur and thought I had found the best one in HI or Chelan, WA. I was wrong. I was in Cedar City last week and found there were a bunch of trailers up and down main hawking snow cones. On the advice of a relative who said Tiki Shack was the best we tried them out. Whoa! He was right. I am now craving the horchata one with sweetened condensed milk and coconut cream. What makes Tiki Shack so great are the flavors you can add to your cone — coconut milk, sweet & condensed milk, ice cream in the bottom, whipping cream and others. They also have tons of flavors and I wish I could have tried them all(especially dreamcicle and sangria). I also like that they keep all their flavors up high in easy to use containers, instead of the bottles. Snow cone places are separated by those who use the round ice block shavers like Tiki Shack, and everyone else. The best cone places all use that big white machine that converts thick hockey pucks of ice into light fluffy snow cones. I would recommend a picnic table or two for customers to sit at. It’s worth pulling off I-15 for one of these for sure!

Best shaved ice for 3000 miles! Why swim to Hawaii when you can drive to Utah? Right off Interstate 15 and on the main road through town. Awesome flavors like horchata topped with coconut cream or the Hawaiian Volcano root beer float. The ice is so soft, not grainy or hard at all. This is the real deal!
