Friendly, clean, spacious, and a great breakfast. If you want to quibble, it’s a bit close to the highway, but still fairly quiet. I’d certainly stay there again.

My brother’s fiancé wanted something secluded from the Austin city life and something more spacious and wholesome for her bachelorette party. We began searching for Bed and Breakfasts. We came upon Blue Heron Inn. It was pretty much off the highway. It had this beautiful acre land with a pond in front of the house. The owner of Blue Heron originally lived there with her husband and 3 sons. They all graduated and now have separate lives so she flipped the whole house into a Bed and Breakfast. She also owns a dachshund. There were 8 girls that came with and we occupied the whole house. It’s a two story house with four rooms total. Each room has their own private bathroom except one room, and their bathroom is across the hallway. 3 rooms have a double and one has a king. It’s really nice. They have a very cute upstairs living room\game room area and a balcony that over looks the jacuzzi outside(which we weren’t able to use because it wasn’t working then). Every morning she had breakfast prepared. It wasn’t a light breakfast. We had SO much food. It was DELICIOUS. And the price was fairly reasonable. It was the same as going to a hotel but better because it was more personable. If I were looking for a night to get away and relax, I’d definitely search for a Bed and Breakfast. As far as Blue Heron goes, you should check it out for yourself. It’s gorgeous.
