Little known gem, perhaps the best kept secret in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area. Great food, friendly staff, and rarely a wait. They keep a clean restaurant but could do with a little maintenance. Do yourself a favor and order an omelet. It’ll be the best or at least as good as you’ll ever have.

Gravy’s is our go to place if we are going out for breakfast. Great food & service & like the atmosphere. It’s a local family owned business so I think that adds to atmosphere. It’s very welcoming & they are always glad to see you.

My favorite diner in the Cedar Valley. Kind, efficient service, excellent food, and a great atmosphere. Definately a wonderful dining experience time after time.

Big portions. Biscuit and gravy is almost as good as homemade. A little odd to have children serving us– family? Hash browns very good. Pleasant and welcoming. Chicken fried steak excellent.

The owners are terrific and nice. When they first opened we ate there twice a week. But then they started closing at 2 everyday and it just didn’t work for us to go there.
Sunday mornings they are so busy and chaotic it’s not worth the trip.
There breakfast is great but I’ve eaten most everything on the menu. My fav is the western omelet.
I think they have a hard time keeping staff. They don’t seem to let up control. They are both always there and don’t seem to give up control. They always have different wait staff. Now it seems that there children are always working. Child labor laws?
If you go when it’s busy plan to be very patient for your food.

Best chicken fried steak I’ve ever had. Staff is very friendly. Extremely fast service. The waitress didn’t allow my coffee get to half empty before refilling it at least 3 times. Can’t wait to visit falls to eat here again.
