I have been coming here ever since the place opened in 2001. Food is excellent, Great Service, Quick Delivery. It does not get better than this.

Visiting my parents, naturally my first stop after a long flight back from LA was straight to CGD. Being departed from my Poppa Tony’s Sub I fired it up and tasted just as good as it ever does. This time we added a couple Taylor ham breakfast sandwiches which was unbelievably delicious. I will be getting my fair share of Poppa Tony’s before heading back out West.

i always order from here and yeterday me and my coworker ordered I had a chicken parm sandwhich and two other coworkers had grill chicken sandwich. Well aprox 6 hours later I got violently ill. So ill I had to go to the hospital I could not walk due to servere back pain vomiting and diarrhea. I taught I had apendicitis. I went to the hospital with fever and vomiting and they treated me. Through blood work they found out I had food poisining and had ecoli in my blood. The only thing I had to eat all day was this sandwich and told doctor. Was told it had to be that. 2 of my other coworkers who had the grill chicken were also sick throwing up and diarrhea. Not as bad as me but they were sick. My coworker and I will never eat here again. I don’t wish this on my worst enemy

Discovered this about 6 months ago. How great is the breakfast here? 3 times a week is starting to get out of hand. Ridiculous… and i haven’t even been back for lunch.

This place is a great place to relax and have a sandwich and just unwind. I work close by and I’ve been here twice.
The people who work here are friendly and make you feel like you belong.
Sandwiches are meaty and fresh!
Best place I’ve been to for a sandwich since 1982! Yeah. It’s that good.

Came here to get breakfast and take out lunch. Ordered 2 bagel sandwiches with eggs. They were fresh and good. The lunch sandwiches were impressive, you get a sandwich, tiny cup of pasta salad (if you have a preference you have to specify to them), bag of chips and a pickle. Everyone was happy with the food. Also had the iced coffee which was decent.
The staff which is relatively young was friendly and courteous.

When I was growing up I spent every Saturday afternoon at Time Warp Comics and Games playing Dn’D and other such games. Yes, I am that cool. And on every such Saturday, my buddies and I would dodge the traffic on Pompton to get across the street to the Cedar Grove Deli for lunch.
The sandwiches were the best then and they are still the best now. I moved away for college about 8 years ago, and every time I go home I stop into the deli. They still remember my order (17, no tomatoes) and they are always happy to see me and my friends.
