Ebert Home Inspections

I am so surprised by this other review! We had a great experience with Ebert Home Inspectors. Bill was our inspector and he was very thorough and very helpful. We are first time home buyers as well and I asked A LOT of questions. He was very patient and gave me information on what I asked and also provided helpful tips for the future. He took his time and I could tell he really cares about what he does. Working with Donna was also very easy. We did our inspection on Sat and had the report by Monday. I also had some follow up questions afterward and she responded very quickly to my requests. I would definitely use them again when purchasing my next home. Thanks Donna & Bill!

I’m not one to leave reviews, in fact, I had to create a Unilocal account just to write this one. Ebert Home Inspections just wrapped up inspection on my second Wayne home with them. Each time, Donna and her team were prompt in getting my inspection scheduled, extremely through during the process and was most knowledgable with any questions I may have had thereafter. I give Ebert Home Inspections a glowing «5 stars».

We were first time home buyers and having a home inspection was really important since we were so inexperienced in the home-​buying process. We contacted Ebert and had the home inspection performed in November, everything went great and we closed on the house. We just had work done and the contractor has informed us that the home has ALUMINUM siding and NOT vinyl siding as noted in their report. Even though, I’m a first time homebuyer, I know this is a HUGE difference! When I contacted Ebert, they lied and told me they had verbally told us it was aluminum, but it accidentally made it into the report that it was vinyl. This is NOT the case, they never mentioned the word ALUMINUM and now I’m really disappointed! Had this been brought up prior to our closing, we could have negotiated for a better price. I say go with a Company that has a clue. If they can’t tell the difference between vinyl and aluminum who knows what else they missed.
