Drove from Colonia to give a try based on a photo of the pizza. Well worth the trip. Extra cheese pizza, side of meatballs and a shrimp scampi pizza. Totally pleased. Clean friendly place and extremely friendly service. Will definitely return. Excellent lemon drop martinis too

Don’t order delivery. You will never get it. I have had dinner here and have not been disappointed. Bit ordered a pizza for delivery and one hour later was still waiting.

I’ve been going to Lombardi’s for years. The chicken scampi pizza and Lombardi’s platter were always my favorite, and if anything, the quality of the food has only improved. I ordered a caprese salad last night and the mozzarella was excellent. The chicken scampi pie and eggplant parm were both great, too. From the time I called to when it arrived at my door took less than the 30 minutes they said. My experience last night could not be improved upon. 5 well-earned stars. Nicely done.

We were very hungry and were in the area so we decided to make a pit stop. We ordered the Lombardi burger and a regular cheeseburger along with two kids chicken fingers. This place can not get an order right as far as medium or medium well goes even the waitress stated that fact after I complained about my burger not being medium. my other qualm was that my kids and my husband were served before me and then my burger finally came out five minutes later and it was wrong. By the time my new burger came out I was not even hungry anymore and my other family members had already finished their meal probably won’t be coming back here

Another awesome place! Great pizza and other dishes and if you ever feel you want a good fillet mignon but don’t want to go and sit down at a restaurant they are the only ones I recommend for a steak take out! They have a tendency to make stake really rare so a medium/well stake is really a rare/medium, but is as tender and super tasty as any NYC steak house! I order it with broccoli and garlic! Yummy!:) give it a try!

My family and I come here quite often and are never disappointed. Their salad dressing is amazing, they need to start selling it to take home! The service is always great– I love on of the ladies who always helps me out selecting healthier dishes when i’m on a diet. They are willing to work around your dietary needs and thats something that’s important to me at least. The food is always fresh and delicious and we never leave disappointed :)

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Located in a strip mall next to a grocery store, this place is deceiving. Once you step inside you are immersed by a classic tavern atmosphere. We ordered the shrimp scampi pizza and cavatelli & ricotta. The pasta came with a complimentary salad which had an amazing homage balsamic vinaigrette. The pizza was perfect, and the pasta was ok, not the best. It was a little bland. The service was good and the waitress was attentive. I will definitely come back.

Zuppa di clams white and red were perfect. Bread was warm for dipping. Meat lovers thin crust was perfectly cooked and so flavorful. Audrey was running a station and the bar. Great, friendly service. Al, the consummate host, as always.

After moving to Cedar Grove from Palisades Park over a month, finally found a tasty restaurant who delivers to my house. When I lived in Palisades Park I got spoiled by business’s service that almost everything deliver to your apartment, and most of their food taste really good and authentic. However, tasty restaurants around Cedar Grove don’t really deliver to this town until Lombardi’s. It’s a little pricey for their food and restaurant ambience but at least they deliver fast enough and food is really good, especially the Margherita pizza and caesar salad with chicken: the chicken is thin and has good flavor and the caesar salad dressing is the best by far I’ve ever had. Especially the salad is not watery: a lot of restaurants don’t drain their salad enough in the end it became disgustingly watery. The only«complaint» I got is they close on Memorial weekend. I am spoiled and used to the modern days 24⁄7 business style — mostly in the city– and I forgot that business operators have family too. I will try to get used to Cedar Grove style and order more food from Lombardi’s.

Best pizza in Jersey. If you like thin crust brick oven style pizza this is the spot. Steaks, pasta dishes, salads, appetizers are all sure shots as well. Enjoy!

Yum, yum, yummy thin crust pizza, great drinks, and a comfortable place to enjoy it all. Plenty of screens to watch the major sporting events, and seating away from screens if that’s not your thing. Very easy for a woman to enter alone or for families. Pizza and Italian dishes are tasty, but the excellent service, particularly from Jen, is top-notch. This is a place that delivers great food and great customer service. It took us 4 years to try it… I hope you find it sooner… you’ll be glad you did. Ample parking. Great find!

Great bar in a strip mall area. The pizza is famous and the Lombardi platter with Broccoli Rabe, chips, sausage, hot peppers and cheese is a staple and must try. Larger table area then bar, plenty of TV’s to watch any event. Come hungry and be sure you wont leave dissappointed.

Used to be great. Food has gone WAY down hill since the change in management and renovation. I think they started buying poorer quality meats and foods for the kitchen. The pizza is still good, but if you go, this all you should order.

Waited an hour in the restaurant for a pie and salad, they hand me the salad and I waited another 10 minutes and asked about the pie. «Oh yeah, what kinda pie was it?» Waited another 15 minutes because I had no choice and had to eat something… when pie finally came out. They charged me full price and not even an apology. I’ll stick to the Fairfield location where the service is much faster and the wait staff is friendly and food is served timely.

I ordered a pizza with meatballs and fresh garlic which is my favorite combinations of all time. I asked in no uncertain terms to please put actual real fresh sliced garlic on my pizza because I find jarred garlic to be absolutely disgusting. I described it for a good 30 seconds, and I was assured that they would follow my instructions. I get my pizza and what is on it but gross jarred garlic. Bitter And horrible tasting. Please just tell me that you will not take the time to chop some fresh garlic so I can order something else. Don’t lie to me and give me exactly what I don’t want. Infuriating.

After living in Cedar Grove for just over a month, I must confess I have so much love in my heart for Lombardi’s. The service food and service, whether dining in or taking out, are just wonderful. Portions are huge, the fireplace adds to the ambiance and the bread… ooooh that delicious hot bread. it’s just to die for. Also, order the veal parm; you will not regret it.

Our first time here. The VEAL is MILKFED and on the money. I had the veal parm and it just melted in my mouth and the Italian Sangria was terrific. Our server Jessica was wonderful and attentive. I’ll be back to try the pizza. It looked great.

First of all this place must be for regulars because their sign outside is broken and if not for navigation I would never of found it. I have no clue how they drive in business, but it was decently busy for a Tuesday night, good for them. The atmosphere is pretty average. Feels like a cozier version of a pizzeria with a bar. I went here with a group of five and we all shared the thin crust pizza for starters. I was weary at first, but it was really tasty. I’ve been eating so much brick oven Napoli style pizza lately that I almost forgot they make delicious American thin crust. Also the bread they give out is very soft, warm, and yummy. I kept my meal simple and ordered the Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad and it was tasty, loved the dressing. I tasted everyone’s meal too. The Lombardi Chicken was super flavorful. The Eggplant Parm was decent. The only meal I didn’t really care for was the Spaghetti Puttanesca. Overall this place didn’t wow me, but I would go back if asked.
