I am writing this to say a few things about Tier One. The company bought out my ISP a few years ago. Originally i was being charged $ 60+ a month. I finally compared my plan to what Tier one had for their plans. I was angry to find their plans for their customers were considerably cheaper. So, they started charging me according to their plans. At the time I was suppose to be getting«lightning fast» speeds of «3 mbps». And for a short time, i was. Gradually the speed slowed down, the company sent out tech’s several times, changed out antennas, modems etc. I was told i would get«up to 3mbps». Their way of taking out responsibility on their end and still collect big bucks for providing next to nothing and a service that goes out every single time it rains and stays out for days. There are two ISP’s where I live, both line of sight with roof mounted antennas. The second Is not an option. We do not have cable and our phone lines are ancient with no upgrades for years, if that. In fact, the houses across the lake have fiber optics, we do not. I am still being charged enormous amounts for 1.5 mbps or less download and .5 mbps or less, upload. When I call about this I am told those are still fast. What world those are fast is beyond me. I cannot stream any tv or movies and youtube and other short videos are now out of the question. Would I recommend this company… NO. If you have ANY other options, go with them.

Tier one provides high speed Internet service via a wireless point to point network. This means quality Internet without cable or phone company access. This is great for rural & semi rural locations.
