For those residents in Leander/Cedar Park, you may want to give this place a shot before driving further south to one of the other BBQ supply places closer to Austin. This place just opened up and has not yet had their grand opening celebration. Most of the staff is in the process of getting trained on the product so they tend to go ask the manager for help. I find this to be a good thing, because that means that they are not giving you a line of BS. They want to do the right thing and give correct information. I always will respect someone for admitting when they don’t know something(to a point… if they don’t know anything, that is when I have a problem). I stopped by here a couple of times over the past couple of weeks. I was looking for prices, ideas, and suggestions on how to finish out the BBQ island that I am building. Bryan, the manager, was willing to work with me when I price compared. They said that this standard practice, so do your homework before heading in. They didn’t ask for verification or a quote from the other place. I did end up placing my order for a grill and some additional hardware for my island with this location. The experience was good. I also ended up ordering stuff that they don’t carry in stock, but they are able to get. Bottom line, friendly team of salespeople… willing to work with you and provide what you need, not what they want to sell you.
