Let me tell you about these little shits. They have vulgar music blasting 24⁄7. I asked them to turn the music down as I was with my niece who is four and they were playing a song that featured«fuck,» «dick,» and«cunt,» multiple times. The manager asked the guy to turn it down and he did. For a minute. And then he turned it back up, told me to fuck off, and denied it to his manager before flipping me off behind his back. That guy is still working there. What kind of company condones such treatment to their customers? I will NEVER go there again.

It has several nifty gadgets that are unique to this chain. The selection, however, has dwindled as time has gone by. This store has about half of the items that it had last year. Don’t know if it’s a nationwide trend or simply this store. Used to be able to spend a long time looking at all of the cool gadgets, but now it seems to be mainly massagers and pillows and massage chairs.

Came here for some Christmas shopping this year. It was really cool place to check out. I was able to shop and browse without being pestered by sales people to buy buy buy. THAT is my favorite way to shop. Let me browse at my own pace and IF i look confused or start searching for a sales person. yes by all means swoop in. I ended up buying a back massager for my bf that will help with his back. Love it. Ti was the first time I’d ever bought ANYTHING from this store before. He too bought me a gift from Brookstone, and it was the FIRST time he had every bought anything from there. How coincidental. If you have never been check this place out.

I bought a $ 50 livingsocial deal for brookstone, which was perfect since the item I wanted to get was $ 49.99. However, when I got there, I was immediately accosted by a female employee that talked very fast and was very hands-on…as in an in my business kinda way. She immediately led me to where my item was, which was good, then asked me if that was all. Since that was all I wanted help for, I said yes, but then she immediately grabbed one of the boxes, then walked very, very quickly to the cash register. My mouth was actually open and my finger raised at her back as she walked away to say«…but I would like to check out other things, too…:(«but man, she was so quick. When I finally caught up to her at the cash register where she was briskly punching keys(maybe their employee lounge has an espresso machine or something…), I mentioned the livingsocial deal. That’s when she told me that in order to use my livingsocial deal, I had to buy something else to make the total BEFORE taxes over $ 50. REALLY? I have to buy something else to make up for the ONECENT under that my item was? That’s when the store manager came to save the day. I was wandering around bleakly, wondering who in my life would need and use«Nice cubes»(metal ice cube replacements…) when a very nice man asked me if I needed help. I explained that I was just looking for something so I could use my livingsocial deal, and he was shocked. He said that I absolutely DIDN’T need to buy something else, I shouldn’t feel pressured, that it was basically just store credit, and that he would be happy to help ring me up. The greatest part is I didn’t even have to ask! He offered, and saved me from that awkward moment when someone in my life opens a package of Nice Cubes. Five stars for him alone for making an already stressful shopping season a little nicer. Thank you!

From what I can tell this location is well run and organized. The staff seemed knowledgeable int he gadgets they had on display. Though the lady seemed a little too friendly, almost in a creepy way… Thanks for the help, but uh… you can go away now please.

I received a gift of a rechargeable automatic wine opener, purchased at Brookstone in Lakeline Mall, for my birthday in August. Four months later, the opener does not work. It will charge and it has power because it operates just fine in reverse. The go forward switch seems to be broken. I called Brookstone and they said they would not consider taking it back without a receipt. A receipt. Who keeps gift receipts?!? You get the gift, you make sure it works properly, and the gift receipt is forgotten. Evidently Brookstone does not stand behind anything they sell. Therefore, no more Brookstone purchases for me or anyone I know. Shame on you, Brookstone.
