I was a member of the YMCA and then Flex Fit prior to switching here. This is hands down the BEST gym in the area.
They do not charge for my children who are both too young for working out, so for both my husband and I we pay a grand total of $ 20. The girl in the daycare is A+, she is VERY friendly and great with the kids, even my infant. Plus, she’s not focused on her phone like the girls at Flex Fit.
They have key & phone lockers located throughout the building so you don’t have to carry them with you AND the best part for me is the indoor track.
The downsides: No indoor pool and no legit cardio cinema, BUT it’s hard to complain when I’m paying $ 55 LESS than the YMCA per month.

I always went to the YMCA until the rec opened up in 2009, and I’m glad I made the switch. The employees were always really nice. Place was always clean. Has everything I need. And till this day it’s still the same!!! Love this place.

I love the Rec Center! I’ve been a regular member for 2 ½ years, and my kids adore the childcare room. It doesn’t have as many amenities as the YMCA, but it’s also not a total zoo like the Y, and the childcare workers are the same people every day. I never have to wait to use equipment I want to use. You can’t beat the monthly membership price, either!
My kids have also done summer camps here two summers in a row and really enjoyed them.

Very very low rates. Very clean.
2 full court gymnasiums. Pick up Basketball is being played every night.
Indoor walking track, full workout area with weights and cardio equipment.

This is a nice facility. Not nearly as many amenities as the YMCA though. They offer a few classes, but you have to pay for most of them in addition to paying for membership to the center. The gym has an indoor running track that comes in handy for cold and rainy days. A light selection of weights and nautilus equipment. They do offer child care, but very limited hours available. They also have a game room for game consoles. There is always a volleyball court setup in the gym. No pool or other water features available.
