BEYOND frustrated with the head orthodontics Dr. here. My teeth are crooked, wasted money, time and years of having braces for nothing. I never, never write reviews but this just makes me so agitated I had to make sure no one else went through the same thing.
I got braces a couple of years back and when I got them off I asked him to put a permanent retainer behind my teeth so they didn’t shift and also so I did not have to wear the clear, plastic retainer every night for the rest of my life. Well, he said he didn’t «believe» in the permenant retainer.
Fast forward years down the road and I am so so disappointed with the service I received here. Not only do I STILL have to wear the plastic retainer (which I have lost 2 times and it cost $ 250 to replace it each time) BUT my teeth aren’t even straight anymore. The clear retainers are so annoying to wear every night (definitely after years of wearing it…) plus it gets nasty and I have to clean it very regularly plus it stretched out because my teeth shifted even though I wear it regularly.
All of my other friends who got braces at the same time I did, for one they had their actual braces on for a shorter period of time, for 2 they got the permanent retainer so they never had to mess with the clear retainer AND their teeth are still perfectly straight (even though they got their braces off years ago, just like me)
Do not go here… absolute waste of money. All those years or having braces for nothing, wearing the retainer for nothing and now I am about to have to go back to a different orthodontist, pay a lot of money so he can finally fix my teeth and then put the permanent retainer behind them after they are straight.
Seriously…just don’t do it. Save your money, time and sanity.

Dr De La Fuente took over Dr Hodgkins practice six months ago. He continues to provide the same great care that I came to expect from Dr Hosgkins. I was impressed that he provided me with a new fitted retainer even though I was never a paying patient of his and I was last seen by Dr Hodgkins five years ago.
The staff here is friendly and knowledgeable and I would recommend his office to anyone seeking to go through Invisalign treatment.

Dr. Hodgkins is very sweet and got us in during an emergency. The office works with us well on understands budgets and having multiple kids… very pleased with his quick care!

I got my braces done by Dr. Hodgkins when I was younger. He has also treated almost all my family members and is treating 2 of my little cousins now. As well as some friends of mine. He is THE BEST orthodontist in AUSTIN area. He has done what some Orthodontists would say is IMPOSSIBLE with Invisalign also. If you have ever been told you were not a candidate, think again! Dr. Ho will go above and beyond to find the best route for you and they are very easy to work with when it comes to payments. COME HERE! :) You won’t regret it!

Dr. Hodgkins has done a wonderful job with all of my children. He is now treating my 4^th. He and his office has supported the local high school dance teams which my daughter was a member. Everyone I know is happy with Dr. Hodgkins and his staff.

The staff is friendly, and Dr. Hodgkins has an upbeat attitude. I guess he did fine with my siblings, but they’re old enough to write their own reviews. One star because after a number of years, I’m lamentably on my second set of braces, and it wasn’t my fault per se. And this time it’s a much more invasive, intensive treatment. Let’s just say that I felt more comfortable going with a different orthodontist this time.
