Not a customer, but one of their drivers in a truck pulling a long trailer almost hit me and my kids driving down 183 this morning. Perhaps they should train their drivers on how to change lanes safely.

I decided to use Geoscapes Texas Inc. in order to purchase and install a tree based on a recommendation from a friend. I called them last Wednesday and did not set a time for them besides that I needed it soon. A nice lady who answered the phone said said the tree will have to be ordered, will be in on Saturday and installed in Monday. I got a call on Friday from the same person confirming my address and schedule for installation on Monday. Today is Monday and I called at 10.09am to check on a time window to when they would arrive. I was first told in they’d arrive in the afternoon and then after 3pm. The installers finally came around 6.53p and we’re done in no time. Looks great although the tree is a tad smaller than what I was expecting. I could have been off on the size and would not complain. Great service and will definitely be doing business with them!

Geoscapes installed our sprinkler system and some very large trees. I am very picky about my yard and had them design in several«interesting» zones, but they were very flexible and worked with me to get things exactly right at a reasonable price. I will surely come back to Geoscapes for my next big project. My only complaint is that they can get very busy at times and can take a day to get back with you.

~15 year customer, through two houses. Have used them MANY times — yard work, landscaping, planting shrubs, putting down sod, sprinkler system installation — the works. Prices have been reasonable, and the work has generally been good, although it took several trips for them to get the sprinkler system properly installed; several of the lines were literally under less than an inch of dirt, and then had mulch piled on them to «hide» them. They addressed the issues to our satisfaction at the time, so we didn’t worry about it. However, something has clearly changed. In the last year, the quality of their work has really become an issue. Destroyed several plants by literally blowing them away with leaf blowers. Stole three baby Sago palms from our flower beds while putting down mulch. Excuse was that they were«cleaning out the bed», yet we find out they’d put them into pots and clearly were planning on selling them — these plants are NOT cheap. They came out a day or two later and replanted them, but they are barely hanging onto life and we may lose them yet. If they were«cleaning out the bed», why did they still have possession of them? Clincher — the wireless rain sensor on the sprinkler died. It’s under a 5 year warranty with the manufacturer(Hunter) — who refers you to the installer for replacement. We have well over a year left on that warranty, so shouldn’t be a big deal. I collected documentation, did the troubleshooting, took pictures of the sensor showing the date code and model, and we email it all off — all they need to do is get me a sensor, I’ll do the work of reinstalling it if they like; it’s not rocket science. Too much — no returned phone calls, no returned emails, just excuses. A crew shows up unannounced as my wife is leaving, apparently planning on doing a full system test, and clearly uninformed as to what we’ve done. We cancel that, more phone calls, more emails, apologies and promises from the nice folks answering the phone, but no action. Then — my wife is finally able to get ahold of the owner(Thomas). He wants to charge us over $ 150 to have a crew come out, plus the cost of the sensor. He doesn’t care about warranty — «We can charge whatever we want to». Cusses my wife out — repeatedly. She’s absolutely shocked and amazed, and upset to boot. We have been using this company forever! Lawn care and landscaping companies are EVERYWHERE. You can’t drive down the road without seeing a truck and trailer full of equipment — be it bigger companies, or just a crew of 2 or 3 guys. Hell — my brother did this for a living most of his life; I know how this works. We will have no problems finding another company — but I want to warn any current or future customers — stay away. Thomas — if you ever read this — your father wasn’t like this. What changed? Perhaps you’re having some crisis in your family that’s affecting your business, but you need to WAKEUP, and treat your customers with respect if you plan to stay in business!
