You are going to pay way too much (My car was stickered at least 2000 over blue book)
They don’t negotiate on cars they’ll be financing

Our company American Home & Commercial Services just purchased a truck from here and it was a great experience. The truck was detailed well and there was no false advertising. The process was painless and the truck is running great. I would recommend this dealership!

Once upon a time, this was a great place to buy a car. I don’t know what happened, if the dealership changed hands or whatever, but something definitely changed. I bought a suburban from them 2011, and it was a great vehicle. I was grateful for them because my credit was in shambles and no one else would work with me. I paid almost all of that truck off and then took it back to them as a trade-​in on a Dodge Durango. There were some issues with the truck that I brought to Steve’s attention and told him that I would only buy the truck if those issues were fixed. I dropped it off twice, and they never got fixed. They said it needed to be taken to dodge so they could fix it. But somewhere along the way Steve left for a new job. I started working with Angel. And like EVERYONE else at Greg Chapman Motors, he has a terrible attitude problem. He was rude to me when I asked about getting the truck fixed, and even though I was on my second vehicle from them, they wouldn’t give me a loner car. He told me I could just rent a car, but I’m not made of money so that was out of the question. Then I was told some of the problems weren’t going to be fixed at all, because someone in a position of authority had decided they no longer wanted to spend the money, even though I make my payments every month without issue. Needless to say the problems were never fixed. I will NEVER do business with them again, and will NEVER send another friend to buy a car from them again. There are other dealers that work with bad credit customers and I strongly recommend you seek them out before you make the poor decision to work with this group of inconsiderate people. As a consumer, on my second vehicle, I feel as though I should’ve earned at least a little respect from them, but other than Steve, no one there has ever treated me with any.

I have just purchased, as of today, my third car from Greg Chapman Motor Sales in the last 12 years that I have been in Austin. Each car was in excellent condition, ran well until I either sold or traded elsewhere, and the sales and staff has been excellent with me. Not only have I bought my 3^rd car, but my sister bought a car there about 6 years ago, and my mother did as well. Each car has performed wonderfully. I’m surprised at any negative reviews because the service has been friendly with me, even when I initially got behind on payments due to illness on the first car note. It just takes communication. I highly recommend them and again, they’ve been great with me personally on 5 cars and treated my family with respect and dignity. In addition, my interactions with Greg, the owner, has been fine. He’s a businessman. Don’t fault him for not putting up with bullshit when it’s served. Treat him with respect he’ll treat you just the same. Just my opinion.

My husband and I had such a great experience at this dealership. After searching for weeks we found the perfect car for me at Greg Chapman Motors and were helped by the man himself! The service was so nice and genuine. That is refreshing and rare to find now. I would recommend all of my friends and family to buy or finance a car here.

Terrible TERRIBLE place and staff. The owner is rude and screams at costumers. Sells vehicles that are not up to par. Have your own mechanic look over any vehicle you purchase. You have that right. Hopefully you won’t need to because you’ll stay away!!! I can’t believe this crap hole is still in business.

Seriously the worst place on the planet! I traded in my BMW there for a jeep that they had. We’ll they gave almost nothing for my trade in and then sold me a car (that I paid cash for). They carfax that they showed me was clean and fake then after buying the car I found out all these things that they had lied about. Basically after owning the car for 2 months I was forced to get rid of it! Because so much had gone wrong. I almost took legal action due to the carfax being faked! So I would never recommend this place to anyone! DONT BUY A CAR HERE!!!

We thought we got a great deal. Not so much. We’ve had my husband’s truck for a week and something already went wrong. Fun part is, apparently it has BEEN messed up. We took it to get looked at and the guy said there was already a dye in it, so whoever we bought it from clearly knew what was wrong with it. Now we get to pay $ 1500 to fix our new truck.

This must be my 10^th car I have purchased in my life, and this was BY FAR the best experience I have had.
Seeing the car that I wanted from the street, I expected the usual sales sleaze approach. But to my pleasure, Steve is professional, fast and he genuinely cares about his clients.
They were flexible with my down payment, helped me structure a monthly payment that was reasonable and even fixed the AC before allowing me to drive off the lot with it.
Thanks Steve for being different, and I can’t wait to work with you again!

I bought my car from here about a month ago and I’m completely happy with my decision.
Steve was the salesman that helped me and this isn’t the first time we’ve spoken. He actually called me from when I had been looking for a car before and told me everything that he had that would fit best for me price wise. I’m so glad he was the one to help me get into a car. Steve made buying a car completely painless and he’s very straight forward. So just a little advice; ask for him if you ever need someone to help you. My car is amazing and the help getting into it was even better. Completely impressed!

Greg, the owner, is rude and has a terrible attitude. I have no experience beyond being welcomed with rudeness and a superiority complex. I would never bring business to this man, period. Stay Away.
