I’ve been shopping at this store since 2007, way before it moved to the Lakeline location. I used to adore this store. I’d get a flyer in the mail and squeal and my husband would jokingly tease me about spending a fortune. But after my latest visit, I am looking for somewhere else to shop. Everything was overpriced and the staff was rude. I’ve always expected long fabric cutting wait times and long checkout lines because they are understaffed (always) but bad customer service is unacceptable. Couple that with horribly overpriced fabric and notions and there is no longer a reason to shop here. Shame. Hancock needs to make some serious changes or they’re going to end up closed. :\

The service in this store is very unfriendly. I shop here frequently and I hate going here but it’s close to home. The only friendly help is Stephnee and the rest of the workers make me feel like their going to shoot laser beams out of their eyeballs at my little innocent children. I keep them by me and let them know ahead of time these people in this store hate kids so please just be quiet dont move and stay by me. One time 2 of my kids were quietly and one the workers made a snicker and said something about them talking. I’ve been going here for years and wish they could be a little nicer or quit

Went to 3 stores trying to find some blue dingle ball trim. Found every other color, but no blue. Called up HF and they had two kinds. And it was half the cost of the other fabric store. Yeah!
Store itself is kinda oldish looking. However, I did see a great selection of cool upholstery fabrics and some cool orange fake fur marked 70% off. Crafting section not too good. I go to Michael’s for those things. Staff was helpful when I called. Polite when I was waited on at the fabric table.

If you like to sew, quilt or anything like that this is the place to be. They have some amazing sales. There clearance area in the back is wonderful «Spot the dot» There is always a sale!
