Hang Ups does truly amazing work! Definitely my «go to» place for any picture or poster framing.

I found Ursula and her business through a friend and I am so happy I did. I brought in a print I fell in love with and Ursula took her time with me to find the perfect frame combination. She was patient and kind with me in finding my double frame for my print. I will NEVER use another frame shop and trust this business with all my frame needs. My finish product was so beautiful and exactly what I wanted.

I stumbled upon this place when Eden Art and Frame in the Lake Creek Plaza closed and I’m so happy that I did! I had a very special print that I bought at an art gallery in New Orleans — my first piece of «real» art so it deserved the best possible framing. Ursula was very friendly and almost as enthusiastic about my print as I was so it made what could’ve been a tedious process a lot of fun. She spent a lot of time with me and seemed to genuinely care that we find the perfect framing. She had options I’d never seen before and the finished product was beyond my expectations. I couldn’t recommend her more highly! :)

Had 2 quality prints with unique sizes. Ursula took plenty of time with me to work out the molding and matte. She has a wonderfully artistic eye. 2 weeks later the finished product came out better than I could have imagined! Highly recommended!

I came upon Hang Ups while looking for a local framer who could prepare a shadow box for me. I had an old tortoise hair comb & a mantilla which were my grandmother’s, so I was looking for a little extra care and attention than is typically offered at your big box arts & crafts/​framing stores. I went in to see Ursula with a basic idea of what I wanted, and she took it and ran with it. She was excited to bring my vision to life, and to make that vision even more vivid. She was truly interested in what these mementos meant to me. She told me that a shadow box is supposed to tell a story, and so suggested adding a photo of my grandmother and a plaque with her name. I inquired if it was possible to use my grandmother’s own handwriting, so Ursula got in touch with her vendor, and it was! That made it all the more special. So, in the end, I ended up with something I will always treasure, and something that tells a story to all who will see it. It was a little more expensive, and took a little longer than going to a big box framer, but the attention to detail, the artful eye, and the genuine interest in your project are hard to put a price on, and definitely worth a little wait! I highly recommend Hang Ups!

Had three prints framed, all came out looking great. It took right at three weeks. It’s not cheap, but framing never seems to be. They were very good at picking out matching frames and suggesting mattes and whatnot. Get the non-​reflective glass, it’s worth it.

Ursula did a marvelous job of preserving and presenting some of my father’s Navy Medals from World War II. Since his death in 1995 these items have been kicking around family storage areas and I was afraid they would be damaged or lost. Ursula did a wonderful job presenting everything in a beautiful and yet very secure manner. Hang Ups will be my first choice for all future framing needs.

This is the place to go for your framing needs. I brought 3 pieces in a few days before christmas and was met by Ursula. This lady knows her stuff. I gave her a vague idea of what I wanted and she immediately went to work designing a mat/​frame combo. She quoted me the price and I told her it was too high and to just go with a basic frame with no mats. She said ok, gave me a lower price quote and assured me they’d be ready by christmas eve.
On the afternoon of chrismas eve, she called to say everything was ready. I went by and to my surprise, she had framed the pieces with the original mat/​frame combo that I had said was too expensive. Then she tells me it will still be the lower price I agreed to and that it was her gift to me. That was a super sweet gesture by a great person. Even though she was obviously overworked, she was still very gracious, thorough and produced great looking work.
The next time I need something framed, I’m coming here, and you should too.

Ursula and her husband are both thoroughly personable and helpful. I had 3 pieces I’d gotten for my husband for Christmas and was comparison shopping just days before Christmas to determine where I’d frame them after the holiday. Others were quoting weeks for a completion timeframe, so it was a great bonus that Ursula said she could do it before Christmas. She was true to her word and I had all 3 ready for me on Christmas eve.
The framing options Ursula has are extensive, as well as options for matting, archival backings and glass/​fiberglass options. She was helpful with suggestions as we looked at what would look best together and work for preservation, yet considering price differences, too.
I’ll definitely recommend stopping by and I know we’ll be back.

LOVE Hang Ups. Met Ursula at a Leander Chamber luncheon a few months ago and since then, she’s done 5 mattings/​framings and 2 repairs for us with a 3^rd repair in right now. Ursula knows what she’s doing and has a great eye for color, composition, and the whole picture. She really cares about helping you create a memorable piece of artwork; she’ll frame anything if you give her a chance to do so. I. I met Ursala for the first time today. I had a framing emergency. My husbands cherished frames piece over our fireplace fell off and crashed. Ursala fixed the frame replaced glass and it is better than new. Did I mention in3 ½ hours and for a very fair price. I will be back for all my framing needs. So glad I found her! She’s a real artist!
