Lane Bryant

I miss the professional, friendly staff they used to have at this location. Presently, there is one tall blond lady who is super nice and friendly and she is a great representation for the store. However, for that last 6 months or so, there is another young lady who has the personality of wet dog. She doesn’t smile, is not friendly, acts as though you are an inconvenience, and behaves as though she is simply waiting for quitting time. I wish she would move on so I may enjoy shopping again.

I can’t decide whether this review is going to be more about the brand or the store, but when both’s pluses and minuses add up, I think 3 stars is about right.
I’m a big girl. Lane Bryant helps me dress my big butt in jeans that fit, and keep my boobs away from my belly button. Those are definitely the best things. The target audience doesn’t seem to be me. Most of the time, I feel like they should have taken a lesson from Chanel, and took the last thing off. There’s almost always an extra ruffle, pleat, sparkle or graphic on their clothes. Oh the graphics tees. .. They look like they are trying to be «young» and it just comes out trite and misses the mark.
I also feel like because there are so few stores that carry plus sizes, LB feels they can charge extra. I don’t shop there unless there’s a sale, or I have coupons. The quality doesn’t always match the price tag, either.
This store is a pretty good store. There’s always a really nice staffer to help you, a dressing room open, and they seem to carry more casual wear than wear-​to-​work clothing.
