Lunas Kitchen

Is this place still open? I saw good reviews here and took my wife for lunch Thursday and there was a closed sign.

I’ve stopped by several times during their business hours and they’re always closed! So frustrating!

This was my first time here, I received a groupon. I got the daily special which a taco salad, it was delicious! The dressing was very flavorful and the chicken was tender and seasoned really well. I’ll be back! Thank you!

Although I have not yet had the pleasure of Luna’s Kitchen catering my wedding (which they will be doing in early December), I did have Karen Luna make and deliver breakfast tacos for my groom’s weekend. I could not be more pleased with everything. The food was delivered with ease, was hot and ready to eat immediately, and was out of this world delicious. We went with a wide variety of choices, from egg and cheese to egg and sausage, bacon, chorizo, barbacoa, and more. AMAZING!!! I HIGHLY recommend you take advantage of the opportunity to hire Luna’s Kitchen for your own need (s).

Great service, wonderful food! You just can’t beat a place like this. You can actually taste the freshness of the food and see the work they put into the presentation.
The owner was very friendly and welcoming. He patiently walked me thru the menu and made excellent entrée suggestions.
I ended up trying the pulled pork tacos today. I must say, WOW! Best pulled pork tacos I have had anywhere-​hands down. The pork was cooked to perfection and soooooo flavorful. It was absolutely to die for.
There were many other interesting food choices as well as a daily special that the co-​owner (his wife) prepares daily. I was told she attended culinary school and likes to have fun with the daily options!
Overall, I loved it. I will definitely be back to try everything on the menu.
SIDENOTE: Luna’s rents out their kitchen to other locals for catering events, be sure to CALL AHEAD before coming just to be sure they are open. They also sell dry items they prepare during catering events in store during business hours. I suggest the new peach No-​Grain-​Ola, it was delish!

Yummy food, friendly service, good filling meals at very reasonable prices.
Lots of take out business. Functional seating at tables for eat in, not much for décor, but I’m already looking forward to my next lunch there.

Love this quaint venue. The homemade tortillas are tasty and the egg and chorizo breakfast taco is the best. Looking forward to sampling more of the menu.

Karen catered our rehearsal dinner meal. It was incredible. She showed up on time set up the table with her serving dishes, had china plates for guest. It was so wonderful.
She was so easy and yet professional to work with.
I highly recommend her.

Stopped in after for a quick lunch and enjoyed the special of the day pulled pork sliders and curly fries. a lot of food for the price, too. I really wanted to meet Karen, the owner, as we’re Veterans and I like to support Veteran-​owned businesses. You really need to stop by for breakfast or lunch special. What’s great is that her kitchen helps other ‘foodies’ have successful businesses, too. A great place to support.

What a find! I stopped in the other day and grabbed lunch to go… meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans like mom makes, actually way better than my mom ever made it. :) This will become a regular stop for me!

My 12 yr daughter and I have been known to leave early so we can stop by for the amazing breakfast tacos. The potato is like no other — buttery and delicious. The office ordered in for lunch one day and I tried the roasted chicken w/​green beans and steamed carrot. The veggies where fresh and flavorful I actually ate everyone of them! My coworkers raved over the pork tacos so will try those next time. The sweet tea is by daughters favorite very sweet and refreshing on Texas summer days.
