Well there are two sides of this review to be fair… On one side the dentist is jokingly natured and very very cheap. On the other side I have severe PTSD from being tied up as a child at the dentist. This is my only weakness, the dentist. This dentist is for the people that are old fashioned or just want the job done. His office is out of the 70’s and the furniture and tools are about the same age. I went in today for a filling expecting to just ask for nitrous to help disassociate and found that they provided no anxiety medication or n2o even for a cost. That is the time my friends that Taylor realized he fucked up. After anxiety gripping me in the dental chair and the shaking set in, I said I couldn’t do it. The dentist immediately told me «get out of here, get up, leave.» Being a 23 year old male who considers him self a relatively tough person, this really hurt. at the same time I can understand that being a single dentist in a small practice and having somebody in your chair not capable of getting the 700 dollar procedure might dampen your day. Maybe it was wrong of me to seek medical care from a dentist not specializing in anxiety or high need patients. I had a cleaning at the office before with no issues, and noticed that the doctor may be in the early onsets of Parkinson’s due to the shakes that he has. It was concerning but seemed to have no effect on his dental skills. But as a person that gives you respect and obviously has some mental, anxiety issues. He csused me to feel like trash leaving his office. Very reminiscent of my younger days when my father would «dismiss» me from his presence. would not look at me, would not say anything but get up and leave. Like fuck. Ouch. I’m trying here, I’m sorry I have PTSD, I really wanted to work with you and have you as my dental professional. Now this isn’t the first time, but at least before the dentist before him just was very blunt and said «sorry son, I can’t help you.» This instance literally has emotionally damaged me yet again as far as dentist go. To try and apologize through tears of anxiety to somebody just to have them to tell you to sincerely «just get out of here» is NOT ok. But for the record, I am sorry that I couldn’t get the procedure done, I probably want it done more than you want to do it. Dick. But hey, if you want your teeth cleaned like its 1975, you know where to go.

I recently had an appointment with this wonderful dentist. My husband and I found him through our dental insurance network plan. I was calling around and what made me choose to make an appointment was the absolutely charming lady who is his receptionist. She was extremely accommodating with the scheduling, very pleasant and easy going with everything that we wanted to have done. I arrived with a very friendly welcoming, the paperwork was very easy and fast to fill out and the lobby is inviting with personal photos of Dr Nieland and all of his lovely animals and family… He was very personable, humorous and made me feel comfortable the whole visit. also did a great job on my cleaning, was clean and Knowledgeable… I recommend him to anyone… and I will definitely be going back.

LOVE MY DENTIST! He’s so kind, gentle and his prices are very reasonable. I have to drive a good distance to get to his office but it’s well worth it !!
