The summer baseball camp is awesome and we just started the hitting clinic on Monday’s. I wish we would have known about this place sooner. The staff is friendly, the facilities are awesome, they are great with the kiddo’s, and experienced. This place is also affordable. My son is addicted and the clinics are going to become a regular event for us on Monday nights. I wish they offered more summer camp weeks too. We will also go at some point and rent a batting cage, balls, etc. but right now for my 9 yr old he needs the clinics more than just free hitting time.

What could be more fun than whacking baseballs in an air conditioned environment when you live in Texas? I couldn’t think of anything more fun either. On Deck is in Cedar Park between Parmer lane and Sam Bass road on 1431. You can’t miss them because you see the big Soccer Zone building from the road and they share the same parking lot. You can either buy a bucket of balls or pay by the half hour. We chose the half hour route and were provided buckets of dimpled balls to hit to our hearts delight(you can get leather for a little more cash). It was $ 20 for a half hour but they also have coupons on their website that make it worthwhile and believe me after hitting for half an hour you are going to pony up the money for another half hour with friends. I do suggest if you are going out there, bring your own bat and helmet if you have them on hand. They have bats and helmets for you to borrow but we realized after sharing a helmet between 4 folks, two being male, that the helmet gets a little nasty with sweat– and I would have preferred not to have someone elses sweat in my hair. and– if you want to feed the balls into the machine yourself, you should bring an extra helmet for that friend it gets a little hairy when everyone is trying to hit a home run. This place is the best idea ever. We wouldn’t have lasted 15 minutes in an outdoor batting cage but inside we were able to play as long as our muscles could muster.
