Spent several hours yesterday with Ed working on basics,; safety, stance, safety, grip, safety sight alignment, safety, listening and safety. Ed is focused, well versed in training, knows what to look for in new shooters to encourage and demonstate good knowledge of the mechanics of shooting. I was shooting better than I have before very quickly. It was great fun and Ed knows how to get you thinking about what you are doing. Big shout out to Shady Oaks too, great range, very clean, very tidy and the staff are all knowledgable, personable and happy to chat and offer suggestions. All round great experience. Did I mention we worked on safety?

Great safety focused firearms instructor who kept the lesson fun — would highly recommend for men or women and clearly enjoys what he’s doing. The one on one was just what I needed and as a beginner, I didn’t feel stupid learning the basics and making rookie mistakes which he corrected with repetition, repetition, repetition. Contact Ed at
