Interesting experience. Had an hour to kill with the family and dog and saw this was dog-friendly and had a dog friendly space. There was nothing dog friendly about the space. It was simply a few old tables out front. We ordered a couple of beers which took ages to order because nobody bother asking is what we wanted or provided us a menu. After we ordered, they just dropped the fries on the table without any napkins, plates, or cutlery like we were animals. We had to go search around to find our own napkins, plates, and cutlery! I had to order the second round at the bar because nobody came out to take another order. The fries had some horribly judged spice on it with a weird ketchup-based sauce. We didn’t even eat it. Definitely a dive with terrible service located right next to a main road which is a horrible location. Even the grass next to the seating area was filled with trash. What a hole. We won’t be back.

Nice, laid-back environment with a good beer selection. Service is great, prices are fair. Food is decent. They have an okay wine list if that’s your fancy. No liquor(fine by me). Dog friendly patio. Very nice for a relaxed evening with friends, sipping on good beer. FYI if all you drink is Miller Light or Bud — you are SOL, and should definitely come here to branch out!

Really like this place! Shoot darts and drink some good local beers! But really time to upgrade the dart boards are so worn that the darts barely stick!

Nice spot to stop for a bite and a beer. The burger was decent, a little on the small side for the price and location. I also asked for no sauce that came with the burger and to substitute ketchup instead and they messed that up. The beer selection is very good with local and seasonal brews. Decently priced for a pint. All in all a good but not great place to kill some time.

Good beer menu and fun games! I loved the shuffle board! The food was okay, typical«bar food», greasy and over fried.

Friday night date night with the wife and we wants to try something new. This is a nice little surprise being that it’s in Cedar Park(boring suburbs) but the place had a good size crowd in it. They had a good beer selection on tap and the staff was friendly and pretty prompt. I have the burger which I thought was pretty good with the potato salad again good. My wife had the club, but as the waitress was bring it realized they put cheese on it, so she had them remake it, then the next one came out missing the bacon. The staff was super apologetic and the manager took the sandwich off the bill. Hey shit happens it always comes down to how the staff reacts and they did a great job. Over all I recommend it and personally will be back at least for some drinks and to just hangout

This place is a great little pub. I love the beer selection, because I always find something new to try. The beer menu is there to answer your questions regarding the styles and alcohol content of the numerous offerings. I thought the name of the place was odd until I went in and saw the bar décor and immediately thought of Indiana Jones. Dig Pub, now I get it. I haven’t tried much of their food yet, but I really like the cheese fries and their beer cheese is the best I’ve ever had. It is worth the trip alone. It’s nice to have this place so close.

This is a cool little bar with ample inside seating as well as a nice outdoor patio area. They have a good selection of beer and the food is tasty as well. They are nestled inconspicuously in a little strip center but very convenient to 183, just a few minutes down the road. An awesome place to meet with coworkers after work for a few ice cold brews or anytime you want to just chill and kick back. A bonus for me is that they are dog friendly!

This is a great neighborhood pub offering some interesting IPA’s on draft. Very comfortable environment. They have dart boards and shuffle board. Both of which become interesting when having your 5thIPA. This is a must do if you find yourself in the northern part of Austin called Cedar Park.

This is my neighborhood hangout. The Dig has never let us down(except when they stopped carrying pizza, bring pizza back to the menu!!!) and has exceptional food and a constant rotating draft menu. For the craft brew club out there… this joke in the wall is where it’s at, oh and I suggest the fresh chips with beer cheese as a side! My favorite item on the food menu is the English Bulldog.

This place is such an amazing deal! Both the food and the beer were about as cheap as you can get — around $ 5 per beer, and $ 6 for our loaded cheese fries(which were awesome!). The beer selection was good too, a lot of local beers on tap, and a good number of options. The location is great, there aren’t a lot of bars that we’ve found around Cedar Park, so I think this is going to be our favorite. There was a good amount of both outdoor and indoor seating, so I doubt we’d ever have a problem finding seating there. The waitresses were awesome. I think there were 3 working there when we went and everyone helped out at all of the tables, so you never felt like you needed to try hard to get someone’s attention. They always asked if someone had helped us, if we wanted anything else, got our empty plates and glasses out of the way almost immediately. Certainly the best service I’ve gotten at a bar!

1st time, reminds us of a pub back home. Wife loved the crispy chicken sandwich and I loved my Dig Burger. Hand cut fries are worth the extra charge. Beer selection is killer!

«I DIGIT» This is more like a 3.5 star review, but the people were nice enough that I’m willing to fudge it a bit. Cool little neighborhood joint. Beer and wine only, but that was not a deal breaker. Better than average cheese fries, and good giant warm pretzels. A little slow on getting items out, and just a really odd mix of crowds, but charming nonetheless.

A month ago, several of my coworkers and I went here for happy hour. I spent a long time looking for a parking spot, and finally gave up and parked at the car wash next door, hoping that I wouldn’t be towed. Upon entering, the place is kind of cute, and clean. There’s a decent beer menu… however, I think each one of us had to go with a 2nd or 3rd choice of beer, because our first choices were sold out. Ouch. I can understand running out of one or two beers… they they were out of something like 6 of the beers we were interested in that night. It wasn’t busy, so I’m not sure what was going on there. One of my girlfriends doesn’t drink beer, but the menu had ciders listed on it, so she ordered one of those. Unfortunately, they were all out of ciders, so my poor friend had to drink a Dr. Pepper for the evening. So much for happy hour… We ordered a few appetizers, which ended up being pretty tasty. I especially like the onion rings/straws that I got. Our server was pretty good, and she did look a bit embarrassed when she had to tell us that they were out of various drinks. All in all, the place wasn’t bad, but I doubt it will ever be in our rotation. For our monthly outing tomorrow night, we’re going elsewhere.

I am so in love with the dig. You can say that I dig it. The best fish and chips I have ever encountered paired with the house made ketchup is for sure the way to go. The Monte Cristo is delicious as well. Tonight I am munching on the cheese plate where you choose 3 cheeses and you get candied nuts and apple slices with crackers. It’s like a lunch able for adults. The beer selection here is top notch and the service matches that. Love the dig!!!

I’ve only been here once but it was a great experience. My husband went on a weekday to check out a local bar since we were moving to Cedar Park soon. It was very refreshing to find a place with such an excellent beer selection. The service was also great. We will definitely return now that we’ve moved into our new home.

Great beer, good food! Ordered the fish and chips, it was good, the fries and ketchup were outstanding! Limited seating, you need to plan ahead.

A few things have changed since my last review. 1) the beer I want has been available for the last few weeks. I’m the luckiest person in the world. 2) the onion strings and potato crisps have left me in tears of happiness. 3) the atmosphere is pretty darn good. I’m usually able to take my kid there and play a game of uno. 4) cedar park has some of the coolest people in the Austin area.(I stand by this observation) 5) the food as such is lackluster. Not too many options for us vegetarian folk except for the cheese plate and maybe 2 sandwiches. Definitely not up to standard here. If you want a good deal, fill up a growler for $ 13, or do the wine trail — three 2oz glasses of any wine except the port for $ 10. There are half pints available on most beers ranging from 2.5−3 $. These are my favorites, I get my beer craving satisfied and not get to b school smelling like a tankard emptied on my head. This isn’t a place where you can expect a lot of attention from the staff, being a pub, so if you’re at a table, prepare to wait. Pass the time with a game of cArds or have a go on the dart boards. Caroline is really nice and will take care of you.(P.s: I collect beer coasters and she gives me a new one each time !) This is my hood pub, and me likey

This is a cool local bar to go to, but I have to admit that the food left me a little underwhelmed. Hubs got the Thor’s Hammer sandwich which has turkey, ham, bacon, fresh sliced jalapeños, Swiss cheese, spicy mustard, and is served with their house made potato chips. Let me tell you, that spicy mustard is not a joke. I ordered the soft pretzels which also come with that mustard and I ate a full tablespoon of it not knowing… and could then breathe fire. HOT! He felt the same way so he picked off most of the jalapeños to lessen the heat of the sandwich a bit. To be fair, it does warn you of its heat level on the menu so he should have known what he was in for. He got the live oak hefeweizzen, and I got a golden monkey for the first time. At 9.5% ABV that will put some hair on your chest! It was very good but $ 5.50 a pop which adds up quick. We got there at 5:30 so I thought happy hour was still going on, but perhaps it doesn’t apply to that beer. The pretzels had a slight cardboard taste to them almost like they were whole wheat instead of regular pretzels. They were okay, just not what I was expecting. The house made chips and beer cheese though were really good. The prices for the food are very reasonable. I would go back and try a different sandwich, but I would not order the pretzels again. Our server was nice and the inside is pretty spacious having both the bar, and a room with booths. One thing I didn’t like though was that people were smoking literally a foot away from the door, so as we left we had to walk through their cloud of cigarette smoke which sucked. I do love that they are dog friendly on the patio, and obviously their beer selection which rocks. And I appreciate the little things like making chips in house, I think that perhaps we just caught them on an off night. It happens, and I know everyone has holiday brain right now, so I feel to come back again another time would give them a more fair assessment.
