We have taken a few things here so far and have been very pleased with the results. The lady who owns the shop is very helpful and friendly. Definitely glad we found this place for all of our tailoring and alterations!

I brought a suit here and the results were awful. I just needed the waist let out one inch because of some minor tension at the waist. First time I came to pick my clothes up, they weren’t ready(even though they picked the date). When it was done, I ended up with excess fabric folding along the arm pit because the adjustment was carried all the way up the back; the seam in the middle was puckered as well. It looks worse than when I dropped it off. When I pointed it out, I was told ‘arms need room to move, don’t worry about it’. This is not my first suit: I know how they should sit… I understand that not every alteration will come out perfect the first time, but at least listen to the customer’s concerns. Long story short: paid $ 50(!!!) to let out the waist of a suit 1″. Work done late. Jacket looks bad. Would not recommend.

Had my suit tailored here and they did a great job. This is the 3rd suit I’ve owned, the other two I bought at Men’s Warehouse and had Men’s Warehouse do the Tailoring. For my 3rd suit I ordered online. The gal at Anh Tailor took better measurements, including changing waist size, seat, thighs, and adjustments around the torso and shoulders of the suit(and obviously also the basic hemming of sleeve length and pant length which is all that Men’s Warehouse did). It’s possible Men’s Warehouse could do just as good of a job, but as a guy who just wants a nice looking suit and doesn’t know what to ask for or how to judge if it fits well, Anh Tailor Shop produced better results. Maybe it’s partially that she knows she will make more money by suggesting more tailoring… but it worked for me and my suit fits much better than the prior two. My total bill for all of the above listed changes was $ 70 after tax. I think letting the waist out by 1.5″ was $ 25 of that expense. This is a small shop that I think doubles as a residence. Don’t be alarmed that the walk-in area in the back is also a kitchen. There are changing rooms and the tailoring area is fairly large. I think they do quite a bit of business and service was fast/professional. I paid cash, not sure if they take credit.
