Hy-​Vee needs to open another Drugtown on the NW side, or seriously remodel this location and ASAP. It’s been run down for far too long and no improvements have been made in the years (5+) I’ve been shopping here. I agree with the first review-​this store is very claustrophobic feeling (aisles are too narrow) and the store is dimly lit inside.
It’s a great place to stop if you need to grab basics: milk, bread, eggs and/​or beer, but don’t plan to find everything on your grocery list.

Hy-​Vee Drugstore (Drugtown for all you natives) is without a doubt the best drug chain in town. Walgreens and CVS just don’t feel like home. I always feel like I’m in a different city when I shop at one of those stores. This Drugtown is an older one and badly in need of remodeling. The aisles are too narrow and the store always feels cluttered. I love it though, because it’s still home.
Tip of the day: They follow all the Hy-​Vee grocery store ads. Shop the «Hot Deals» and save a bundle.
