Poor service. Doesn’t seem to care about their customers or their potential customers. They say you are at there convenience. Poor company. Stay away from them

First, a note to anyone with aging relatives you’re ultimately responsible for: you need to be listed on their ImOn account to affect any change, like suspending service when someone is hospitalized. It’s easier to deal with the bank and utilities than it is ImOn.(I’m sure this works to ImOn’s advantage). Second, get ready to return any cable boxes or any other«leased equipment» — ImOn will charge you the full retail price for aged equipment that is 5+ years old and doesn’t even work. Like $ 700 worth of outdated, non-working equipment. Out of morbid curiosity, I checked out the price of the same cable and modem on Amazon, and it was a little over $ 100. So, they’ll rip you off if you give them the chance. I wasn’t surprised when I learned that ImOn is run by ex-McLeod/Chapter 11 survivors. If only McLeod’s investors had fared as well. If I had to guess, they’re building a mini-telecom/cable network that they’ll sell-off to a bigger entity. Not sure why it’s not considered a monopoly: not a lot of competition in Eastern IA. Nothing good to say about the«customer service», the hurdles we had to jump over to get service suspended, and ultimately turned off. These guys are bad news. I’d give them zero stars if that was an option. Get Dish instead. Or go streaming through another device or supplier. And don’t let them talk your relative into«bundling» — but above all, get your name(s) on the service agreement(s) so you can make changes without having to have legal representation. They required us to send an actual death certificate, and proof of trustee/executor stuff. Bollocks,
