First time here since switch from Croissant du Jour. The food was fantastic. One beef burgundy deemed«the best I’ve had», one salmon in pastry«wonderful», two specials– chicken roulade — chicken breast roll with chicken mousse in pastry with wild mushroom sauce. Fantastic. Also had French Cosmos to drink — and quiche appetizer and shrimp with salmon mousse and lobster sauce. All agree that nothing could have been better.

L’Auberge is this quaint little place with a cozy atmosphere and a homely feeling. We were a group of 4, and the service was quite fast. We ordered Shrimp with Salmon Soufflé and the Asparagus in Puff Pastry to start with. Both were simply fantastic. I loved the refreshing flavor of the asparagus dish, and the puff pastry was just so flaky and melted in my mouth. For dinner, I had the chicken in cream sauce which I LOVED. I have to make my way around the whole menu in my future visits as they all sounded simply delicious. To end with, I couldn’t resist trying the Crème Brulee. which surprise, surprise. was amazing! I do miss Croissant Du Jour’s pastries and lunch. They still have the Lobster Bisque and their French Onion soup on the dinner menu. Also, the day we went, a quiche was one of the specials that night. The food will make you reminisce good olé days of Croissant Du Jour, but the dinner is just incredible. The quality and taste have remained exquisite. I’ll definitely be back! P. S. The table bread is freshly baked, and served. Don’t miss it!

Great dinner and excellent service. Had the steak and my husband had the beef burgundy. The star of the show was the dessert! Crème brûlée was amazing! We will be back.
