Delicious! I have eaten at Newbo Sushi for supper twice now, and it’s been a great experience both times. I enjoy the seaweed salad(Wakame) and the Rainbow Roll the most. The Banker Roll and the Ahi Tuna Poke are close seconds. No one goes to a Sushi place for the dessert, and its clear why. The dessert here tastes like it came right out of the frozen food aisle, and I would recommend just getting something somewhere else on the way home. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is closed on Sundays which is sad for my schedule. And the lunch menu is different, so I can’t speak to that. Overall though I would definitely eat there again, and I would definitely recommend it.

Food exceptional BUT service moves at a glacial pace. We were there two hours and skipped dessert for fear of setting a restaurant occupancy record

Decent sushi for Iowa. Atmosphere is a little funky. Service a little slow. Lots of beer on tap because they are connected to Newbo Alehouse. Order before six and get happy hour pricing on rolls.

Wow. I was just blown away by the food at this restaurant. I have had some amazing sushi in my life. and this really was on parr if not above the rest. The miso soup is not made from dehydrated ingredients making it rich and flavorful with real bite sized squares of tofu and mushrooms. It made the Sushi House pale in comparison. I had a sakehito. which was light and refreshing. The sushi was a but of fusion aspect but just… so amazingly good. I don’t think I can go anywhere else now… Good thing I live in the Czech district!
