I finally got in here to try out this locally owned eatery today. The staff was very friendly and helpful with their suggestions. I went with the Gyro and sweet potato fries. The pitas are huge, made with a pocketed burrito-style pita. They stuff all the ingredients into the pocket and roll it tightly with the flap. You could eat one of these in a roller coaster an not spill anything. Not the best gyro I’ve ever had, the feta seemed to overpower the gyro meat which was a little scarce in proportion. It was a very filling lunch none-the-less. The sweet potato fries were fried to a crisp perfection. I’ll probably try the cheese steak pita next time.

FREEPITA! I enjoyed 7 delicious pitas(mostly breakfast pitas) and then got the 8th free!!! I love punch cards, they give me a goal and a sense of accomplishment. And who doesn’t like being told their meal is FREE! The kid(in my head, he’s about 16) has apparently caught on to me and my love of breakfast. A few breakfast pitas ago he says to me «You really like breakfast don’t you?». Yes, yes I do, young man, now make me a pita!

I had a wrap over the weekend that was great. The place is tucked away in a small stripe mall and not easy to see unless your looking for it or shopping at Walmart.

Located on a side strip of stores near WalMart right on the corner and easy access. I was excited to see a Pita place open up on this side of town. And was hoping it would be a lot like The Pita Pit. It is set up similar(even with bright color palette) but lacks all the options and ingredients(like Feta cheese, etc, and the option to add as many cheeses as you want). Pita’s(pocketed, cut, and folded over like a burrito/wrap) are good and nice sized. Comparable to between a Subway 6″&12″… about in the middle. Fresh ingredients to choose from, and the chicken or steak or… is grilled and chopped then added. And they are all about $ 5 each(give take 50cents). Same with the breakfast pita’s served anytime of day. Though I dont know why just the plain scrambled one cost as much as the ones with meat? I was disappointed in the caesar salad for the price(as much as a Pita), it was way to small for the price and should be $ 1 – 2 cheaper, or portion of romain doubled(the single chicken breast is fine). They also have egg rolls and rangoon, which are your typical deep fried versions. I know this is a «ma-pa establishment», and the main reason why I would keep supporting, and I know they cant get as many bulk-buy discounts as chains and have more overhead right now being new. For CR, I think the price points are just a lil off to be competitive to get patrons veered away from the likes of Subway etc. Granted they have only been open for a few days and still getting used to it and modifying the menu and all. So I will come back and give them another try to see the progress. As I wish them the best and to would love to frequent them after some menu tweaks. I really want to love this place.
