Sears

I need a full size mattress. I was ready to buy a full size mattress. So were my back, neck, and hips. I walked in to this store with three models in mind, committed to make my decision and purchase today, taking advantage of the Columbus Day sales, and…
…walked out with nothing.
I’ve tried buying a mattress on impulse before with negative results, so, being the analytical person I am, I decided to do so in as objective way as possible.
I went to 6 different stores that sell mattresses. I went to Smulekoffs, JCPenny, Mattress Firm, Sears, Sam’s Club, and Factory Direct Mattress. I laid on each bed in my flexible price range and came up with a list of 10 mattresses that I considered contenders in the war for my affection.
Then, I went home and researched the internet for consumer reviews. My main resources were consumer reports

From there, I narrowed the selection down to three mattresses.
In case you’re wondering they are the Serta Perfect Sleeper — Edgecourt Gel Plush, the Serta Perfect Sleeper — Edgecourt Gel Firm, and the Serta Posturepedic Kaden Gel Firm.
I was lucky. They were all from the same store: Sears. I walked in to Sears, plopped right down on the first of the three beds, and was immediately greeted by the salesperson. I informed her that I was looking at three mattresses, told her the models, and I was going to buy one today.
Sounds good so far, right?
Apparently not.
She asked me how I had come to this decision and if I had been here before. I explained to her the clearly ingenious scheme I’d devised and said that I had been here yesterday, as well as six other locations.
The salesperson in Sears informed me that my results really weren’t valid because I hadn’t laid on each bed, in each position, for a full fifteen minutes, then pointed me to other models she felt I should try instead.
I left.
I can’t help it.
I was so dejected.
And tired.
And sore.
All I want is a new bed.

The sales people are very nice and helpful here, they look to find you the best deals they can and they also have a price match. They have anything you need for your house yard and many other things.
