Subway

This Subway was not hard to find as it was at the end of the ‘strip mall’.
I walked in and got in line. The line moved pretty fast. When it was my turn, the gentlemen asked me what I wanted and I moved through the line and paid for my samich.
All in all, the Subway employees at this location were very fast and they made me a great sandwich.

dis morning it wuz time 2 get back on da hunt for a J O B. it been a min since I had né xtra cash cumin my way. walked pass a subway nd saw a help wanted sine in the window nd went in nd axed 4 a manager
sat down wit da manager n we choped it up 4 a bit he seem like a cool dude. den he axed me if I had né food service exp n I wuz like I got plenny of exp EATIN food not cookn it cant u tell LOL. sike I been workin at da arbys for a min til dey layed me off. I aint tell him y tho cuz I still say it was unfair nd im still salty bout it so I jus said it aint work out. he laffed nd gave me n app nd I took it 4 da road cuz da bus wuz on da way nd I couldnt b late cuz u kno dam sure I aint walkin LOL.
Even tho I hitup BK right b4 I got i figard I wud pickup a $ 5 footlong 4 the road. I went wit a bbq chicken sub cuz u can neva go wrong wit bbq sauce. I wuz on da bus nd it smelt so good I jus had 2 open it up. man wuz it good. i could c a few ppl givin me da eyez like dey want a bite but HELL NAW yall aint getin none of mah grub LOL.
so ill give yall 4 stars nd not 5 only cuz yall aint put enuff bbq sauce on dat jaunt. lucky 4 me I found a ketchup pack on da bus floor nd used dat 2 give it a lil more flaver.. den I started 2 think mayb I aint wanna work in fast food no more so I prolly aint gon fill out da app. oh well I got sum good grub outta it

In terms of food, a Subway is just another Subway, so I’ll focus on other areas.
First off, this location is slightly above average in terms of store cleanliness. It’s not spotless like some locations I go to, but far better than the one across from Hy-​Vee on 1^st Ave.
The main aspect that keeps me coming, apart from being close to work, is their ability to quickly serve customers during busy lunch hours. I’ve been in the store with a line up to the door, and was gone within 7 – 10 minutes, max. That’s a bonus for people who don’t want to spend their lunch hour waiting.
The service is solid, but not overly friendly. That’s perfectly fine by me, as it’s required in order to keep things running quickly. The location is great, because it’s in a little strip mall with plenty of parking.

You know all those ads Subway does for «Any foot long for $ 5″…any, any foot long?». Well apparently «any» doesn’t mean any or certainly not every. My two foot longs came to nearly $ 14. They said the offer is only good on regular sandwiches. Funny thing the menu doesn’t state which sandwiches are irregular. To add insult to injury the «Philly Cheese Steak» I ordered wasn’t ANY good, just like the rest of Subway’s «regular» sandwiches.
