One of the best live auctioneers around, and a superb group of people working with him. Jr is a decent barker too. I will travel a couple hours to hit one of Art Smith’s auction sales. Farms, estates, some of the good stuff passes hands here at great prices (if you know what you are doing and don’t get caught up). I enjoy beating out someone on an item I want, there is a certain satisfaction in that. The banter of the auction, the challenge to win at low prices, the thrill of victory. I love the smell of victory on a farm.
