These are good tacos, but definitely way over-hyped. I’d read an article sent by a friend about this stand and was incredibly excited, especially after a couple hours of canoeing. If there is a long line, just keep driving. These are worth a 5 – 10 min wait, max. — The tacos were very basic — not at all gourmet, just simple meats and flavors(ground beef, chicken, etc). They were a little on the dry side. — I believe the shells come from El Milagro in Chicago(unclear if both corn and flour or just one type). Corn shells were legit. — Ingredient quality seemed good. I can believe these are the best tacos in N. Michigan, but if you’re from a place with a good sized Mexican population and great tacos — then you might be a little disappointed. I would go back if it wasn’t too far out of my way.

Amazing tacos. Definitely the best in Leelanau County and a great view of the rollings hills to eat. Probably tied for the best tacos within a couple hundred miles.

«Livin’ the life, killin’ the tacos.» Looked out on lovely prairie scene while listening to Digable Planets and eating a mighty tasty taco in the summer breeze. Stars for 1) deciding to create an awesome taco stand in Cedar, MI, of all places, 2) soft corn tacos that held together start to finish, 3) freshly made guacamole and tasty chips, 4) $ 4 pints of the cutest sweetest strawberries I’ve had all year. One star off for limited/DIY seating options — need more tables & chairs, boys!

Wow! Fresh, local, authentic, simple ingredients. Best tacos in TC, hands down. Although I thought the veggie tacos were out of this world, my wife said next time she would add cheese because they were a bit dry. My son devoured the quesadilla. Pico de gallo was as fresh as it gets. I could eat here every day and be happy.
