My son is taking Tae Kwon Do lessons at Chay’s. In the year plus that he has attended Chay’s, Master Chay has taught every class with only one or two exceptions. Master Chay clearly cares a great deal about how well each and every one of his students perform. His black belts are black belts with excellent form. No one watching his class in session or watching one of his students in competition would disagree. I am amazed at the level of instruction I see each individual student receive. We’ve been to other martial arts schools in the past. Chay’s is the best.

I have been taking martial arts classes here for the last couple of months and thoroughly enjoy the instructors, atmosphere, and location. This is my first martial arts practice I have taken so I don’t have experience comparing it to other dojos or studios. The place is located in the business park of Cedarburg. Walking in there is a waiting area with magazines and about a dozen chairs to watch the main room that is about 25′ x 80′ equipped with kick boxing bags, mixed martial arts bags(holdable bags that represent the torso of a human), focus mitts, and tons more of equipment. There are separete changing rooms for men and women with lockers and hooks for your jackets. There is a smaller room off to the side that has the same equipment but is around 15′ x 40′. In the back there is a room that is just as big as the front room that he uses as a before/after school program(which he picks kids up from school) and a workout room. Master Chay, who teaches most of the classes himself is a 6th(maybe even 7th) degree black belt that will work you out harder than anything you have done. I go on Monday and Wednesday at 7:15 — 8:15 for Krav Maga, which is an Israeli martial arts. I also go on Saturday at 9AM for Cardio Kickboxing. I highly recommend Master Chay to parents and kids who are looking for a workout while learning self defense and discipline.
