Starbucks

Hit or miss coffee shop. I prefer the local shops. Stick with shaken drinks and no problem, but order a specialty drink (frappachino or espresso drink) and its like rolling the dice.

I go here all the time with my friends and we love their croissants and vanilla bean frappé! I would highly suggest going there.

What’s in a name?
I tend to stay away from the green coffee giant with a logo that resembles Medusa. I would rather spend my hard earned green in a local business that has ties to supporting the community. Yet, this Starbucks is one I patronize when in the area and need a quick in and out. Easy access off of Washington Ave. and good parking lot that puts you close to the door, one can be sure that they won’t experience long lines like the other locations. That is at least the culmination of the times I visited. There is one barista that always knows my name and preps my drink before I can lay out the card. This always saves a good couple of minutes when I’m running between A and B.
It does lack a homeyness (sp?) and places to avoid the noise and get some stuff done. Either way, when that mid-​morning metabolic crash shows its ugly head I make a quick stop and get back on the road.
