How is this establishment not more heavily reviewed? The cheese store is famous in the Five Towns/Long Island and fills a very specific niche. Clientele is primarily Jewish. They do not mess around when it comes to iced coffee and it serves them well. They’re very popular and for good reason. My town goes crazy for this stuff. With so many flavors(almost 100…) to choose from, it can be a challenge deciding which one to order(although I do think many flavors taste too similar to be considered different). Also, the hot coffee is underrated and good as well! They have the basic, normal amount of flavors to choose from. I wouldn’t say this place makes the best coffee I’ve ever had, but it’s still very good. You can get a fresher, more robust brew elsewhere. But I digress. Obviously, they do sell a lot of cheeses as well(Kosher!) but I only get that once in a while so I can’t really comment much. They also have an large assortment of specialty foods covering every inch of the place. The store is overwhelming at first but also kind of welcoming in a way that makes you want to support local businesses. My main gripe is their business hours. They’re only open during standard work hours, 8:30am-5pm during the week and 9am-5pm on weekends which is kind of strange for a place that takes such pride in their coffee. I would probably go more often if they opened earlier. Oh well. Saturday is the best time to go because it’s one of the few businesses in the area that’s actually open so there’s ample parking and hardly any line. This is important because unfortunately they usually move kind of slow and sometimes dilly dally which is frustrating because buying coffee is supposed to be a very quick, in and out type of ordeal. Also, Sunday’s in that area is pure chaos. Location wise, the cheese store is not really«on the way» to anywhere so you’d have to make it a point to come here. Nevertheless, if you’re a cheese or coffee person, this is a good find.

Awesome store, highly recommended. Best ice coffee in New York by far. No one even comes close.

WHY does this place only have 3 reviews? I tried their iced coffee for the first time, and it was amazing. They have so many flavors, it’s hard to choose. Plus, they don’t use syrups! I had the french vanilla velvet and it was amazing. Can’t wait to try the other flavors!

This place takes iced coffee to the next level, and that level is indescribably amazing, until you try it for yourself Ordering for a noob can be intimidating, so I’ll break it down for you: Walk up to the counter, pick your cup size(the cup display is hanging overhead and is numbered 1 – 5 in increasing order) After picking your number, choose whether you’d like your coffee iced or hot Now comes the tough part, picking a flavor from their long list of choices. I go with a snickers, religiously. Pick your flavor then tell them what type of milk and how many sugars Ex: hi, I’d like a number three iced coffee Snickers flavored with skim milk and two sugars It sounds silly explaining how to order iced coffee, but if it’s your first time there, you’ll be happy you read this They also sell… cheese(hence the name) and organic, healthy items Honestly, I’ve never eaten there but the place is always busy

Love Cheese Store. Not for their cheese, ironically, but for their great coffee flavors. Milky Way iced coffee? Yes, please. They are serious about their coffee so make sure you follow directions when ordering. Yes, directions. You need to think about size, iced or not iced, flavor, type of milk, sugar type, etc all beforehand. So worth it. Try to go here on Saturday when it tends to be emptier/more parking because of Sabbath.

I can’t believe no one has done a review of this long time business… I have nothing to say but good things… the ice coffee is the best on Long Island, the staff is awesome, and the home town feel is next to none… I am addicted to the ice coffee and get one at least 5 times a week… they also have a variety of gourmet foods and hard to find products… I love love love this place!
