Décor wise it’s a 5 star for a Mexican restaurant, unfortunately for cuisine it’s a 2 ½. The chicken is dry and the rice and beans are mass produced and kept warm all day/night and the chips even though free are unseasoned. I wish I would have had a better experience… Update 3 hours later — — — — — - I took a star off because : Myself and one of my companions felt sick afterwards, we both had chicken. The chicken itself tasted old and not made fresh, we won’t be back.

Called in for a shrimp cocktail. It wasn’t ready so they told me they had to put it back in the system. Then he said no one called and ordered it. But it was the same price we were told over the phone. Needs to update phone number on Google as well and needs to update location on Unilocal.Be cautious for morons here.

Pretty good Mexican for the middle of nowhere. I like how the free salsa comes in a little pouring thing… it’s just cute. Service is pretty good. I tried the El Nopal Special, the chicken nachos with jalapeño cheese, the spicy chicken, and the Texas dip. The El Nopal Special was surprisingly delicious — just rice with shrimp, chicken, and cheese, but whatever seasoning they use is yummy. The chicken nachos were just okay. There were no raw veggies like lettuce or tomatoes, which I love on my nachos(and are usually pretty standard). The spicy chicken was pretty good and HUGE, and if you put the Texas dip on top of the spicy chicken and the rice and everything… heaven!

On the road between Atlanta and Nashville, didn’t expect to find food this good on a state road! Nachos were a little drowned in queso blanco, but the chicken was incredibly tender and juicy. Pork chops made him smile!

Ate there yesterday and often in the past. As usual the service was great, fast and attentive. Chips and salsa are consistently good and well maintained at the table. Lots to choose from on the menu and prices allow a family to enjoy a night out without to much pain. Entrees are are better than the price would suggest. It’s not some high end TexMex that one would find in a large metro area but for our little town it is great.

Best Mexican Food around! Fast service, and great choice. They have good specials to save money, but lots of different items too. Chips and Salsa are great, and they have lots of beer on tap.

1. They have moved and are now on the edge of town by Walmart. 2. Chips and salsa excellent. 3. Fast, friendly service. 4. Good prices. 5. Good food but not the best Mexican I have ever eaten. Would go back.

The food is alright… not too authentic and you really don’t get the customization(meat, combo choices) you would at other Mexican restaurants. Overall, I wasn’t impressed and the prices were high for what you got. I wouldn’t eat here again, but being from out of town I’m not sure if there is anything better around. On the plus side, Chips and Salsa were really good though!
