Save your money and buy some spaghetti o’s. Worst Italian food I have ever had. Nothing was fresh and tasted like chief micro cooked it. I doubt this restaurant will be open much longer.

Our family has been eating at Portobello for at least a year, when we visit family in Cedartown. Service has always been friendly and prompt. Our meals have always been prepared correctly. The pizza is always good. Both the eggplant and chicken parmigiana are also good. Overall, we have been pleased with our experience.

We eat at Portobello when we come to visit relatives in Cedartown. Our service has always been friendly and prompt. Our children usually have the pizza, which they enjoy. Typically, I order chicken parmigiana or eggplant parmigiana. Our entrees have always been prepared correctly. The portions are generous. It is not the Olive Garden, but it is a good restaurant for Cedartown.

Horrible, went a couple times, food was raw(doughy) they offered to replace with something else when they did it was just as bad and not cooked. Never will be back bad service as well. Food is not very good.

I held off reviewing this restaurant at first hoping it would settle in, and then I held off reviewing it because I honestly thought it would be closed within the year. I wanted to love this restaurant because I dislike the other Italian/Greek-ish themed restaurant in town and I had heard it was run by someone in the family that owns a very decent Greek place the next town over. The building is huge; there is far more seating inside than there is parking outside. It is kept clean though. Beyond that you immediately start to see the problems… Service stinks. The wait staff was never trained. From One Day until now service has been inconsistent, mostly underskilled(few exceptions), and slow. Also, no one seems to know the menu. Speaking of the menu it was practically a small novel covering at least half a dozen styles of food which means much of it is cheap frozen food. The problems are not limited to the front of the house. The«cooks» are very inconsistent with both preparation and portion size — I’ve had enough food to feed 3 people one time and left hungry another time ordering the same meal. They do have some dishes are good when prepared properly but between servers that get the order wrong and a kitchen that prepares things wrong it can be hard to get the same dish twice. —- If the owners happen to read this I offer my advice: Provide training to your staff. Wait staff should all be coached on proper behaviors, they should also all know the menu. Cut all of the extra frozen junk off of your menu and just do a smaller yet freshly prepared menu(Cuts bad experiences and food cost). Look up how to price/portion a plate and make sure your kitchen is keeping things consistent. Crazy promotions and discounts may draw a few customers into the place, but they won’t be profitable and they likely won’t come back.

Used to be good place but now it needs to be on Restaurant Makeover cause the only thing good is the bread sticks.

Bleh. Man, dining out in Cedartown is just the pits. Portobello looks promising from the outside. It’s even pretty cute. Inside though, you feel like you’re dining in thinly-disguised pizza hut. As we were waiting to be seated, another customer came in to return their pizza. Not a good sign. The restaurant offered to make them something else but they were firm: just give us our money back. Not a great start. The menu is huge, and has the fairly ordinary mix of Italian and pseudo-Greek dishes. Our service was pretty lousy… the waitress was not very friendly AND she got the order wrong(despite me saying TWICE to hold the olives). The pizza was not good. It tasted like a cheap frozen pie reheated. Our appetizer had clearly been frozen, as it came out with a very cold center and hot edges. I did, however, like the breadsticks. That’s about all.

Newly renovated very nicely decorated. Waitress was very prompt and nice but didn’t know the menu. The menu is huge… too huge for fresh food. Mostly frozen/fried. Not much of a departure from other offerings like Zorba’s. Appetizer bread was doughy. I had the gyro on pita. Nothing to write home about and tziki sauce was tasteless. My daughter had the cheese burger which she found good and very large. Fries were nicely done and golden blonde.
