Monte’s Bar & Grille

Monte’s Bar & Grill is your average school cafeteria.
They provide a solid pizza line, and a solid salad bar.
Their ranch is sometimes a bit runny.
They have a good Hot breakfast bar that I wish was an «any time» hot breakfast bar.
It is a shame that it is not open during «any time» of the day.
They provide a vast array of cereal. There is usually only captain crunch on average once a week, but that provides time for the roof of the mouth to heal.
I really enjoy when they have store brand «captain crunch» and Cinnamon Roll cereal.
They provide a «Home Cooking» line that truly reminds me nothing of my mothers home cooking.
This line is either a hit or miss. It either has a great selection of chicken fingers, or chicken patties, (which provide for a brilliant all expense paid «chicken patty party») or it will sometimes have lasagna that is burnt to has no taste.
They also provide a nice Grille so people can grab their own food from around the whole cafeteria. This allows for multiple stir fryes and egg Benedict’s to be made.

Monty’s Bar and Grill is located in the upper floor if the Stevens Student Center at Cedarville University. I usually take the free elevator ride upstairs.
There are many options at Monty’s including the «Subs Your Way» line much like Subway. It’s usually your way about 60% of the time.
The Habenero line is a chipotle burrito type of option. It’s hit or miss wether your burrito gets wrapped appropriately.
Deserts are mediocre, I would avoid it. Ice cream is standard. Personally I like their wedge fest option when they have wedge potato fries. This occurs once a month on average.
Chicken tenders are great, they go fast so show up at 5pm to get in line before the rush.
The owner Monty is great. He cleans up the area and keeps the place clean.
