I just got the most amazing customer service. I live far and I feel like I want to come back just because all the employees were so nice to me. The food oh so yummy. I got the deal of the day. I left with a belly full of yummy food and a smile on my face. Great job guys.

Dickeys has pretty average BBQ, nothing special but pretty good. Sides are above average in my opinion, waffle fries are freshly fried and seasoned with a good salt/​pepper mix. Mac & cheese is awesome. Rolls are small but good. Free ice cream is great, & sweeter than the average soft serve, a big plus.
The thing that shined about this particular location is the two guys that were behind the counter on this particular visit, they were funny with a good give & take, and the whole while they got everything done and finished our orders quickly.
An above-​average Dickeys, will likely visit again, great job!

I’m always careful what I order at Dickeys. I stick with the beef sandwiches or beef bakers. Saturday special was priced right so I went with that. Sides of green beans usually good across the chain. These had a little different taste, maybe the bacon, not sure but fine. Baked potato casserole was okay, not exceptional by any means. The beef is tender but seemed a teeny bit dry as I ate more. Get used to Dickeys not having heavy char or smoke. I like the lighter BBQ sometimes. I think my experience was a 3.5. Shame I can’t give them a 3.5 but I can’t give a four for sure as it would diminish the value of my true 4 star reviews.

Well the bbq is average. The folks working the counter are really friendly. However, they never seem to get the order correctly rung up. I have been under and over charged on my visits there. Honestly burger fixins has a better bbq sandwich. I guess dickys is the place to go on Sundays as its open when other restaurants in town are closed.

I made a day trip to Lake Texoma recently and stopped here for lunch on our way back to Dallas. I have to admit that I don’t usually choose Dickey’s when I’m in the mood for barbecue, but on this day it’s all there was.
I had their smoked turkey, fried okra, and potato salad. All three were outstanding. The okra was perfectly cooked, and the turkey was juicy and flavorful (no sauce needed!). The young men behind the counter did a fantastic job of taking and fulfilling our orders. We were there around 2:00 pm so the crowd was really thin (which was nice). The atmosphere is quite pleasant.
If I’m ever in Celina again, I’ll make it a point to stop here.

Went for a baked potato today. It was cold so I asked the server reheat it he brought it back still cold. I took it back asked if it could be heated again he rolled his eyes and gave a bit of attitude then took it to reheat. It was then that I asked for my money back. Then he started apologizing and gave the excuse that the equipment wasn’t working that’s why the potato didn’t heat. I left with my money and no apology from management.

My husband has been here many times and cannot say enough good things about the people and the food. Dickies has always greeted him with a smile and gave him more than he expected. He also made many comments about how the manager always recognized him and treated him well,
The kind of small town friendliness you’d expect in Celina.

Nope. Don’t get it and never will. Sides taste microwaved and the meat is the least flavorful BBQ I’ve ever eaten.

Stopped back in to this location this past weekend and was pleasantly surprised by the improvements! There seems to be a new Manager, and things are running a bit smoother. I called in my order ahead, and it was packed and ready upon my arrival. And, I overheard the Manager mention on a phone call that they now deliver! I’m glad they worked out a few kinks, I’ll probably be around more often!
